The party really does last all year. One reason we all love fall are corn mazes, haunted or not. Even though this summer is the big birthday party for America, the party is absolutely going on all year. Richardson Adventure Farm, considered to be the world's largest corn maze with 28 acres and about 10 miles of trail, is in Spring Grove, Illinois. Ahead of their opening on September 12th, they created a collection of the best of America's symbols, as a tribute to America's 250th birthday.

Illinois State Fair Announces Milestone 2026 Theme

The Illinois State Fair has announced it's theme for this year's event. According to a release from the Illinois State Fair, the theme for the fair this year will honor a milestone that has roots in Illinois It will be called 'Miles of Smiles', dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the iconic Route 66. The original cross-country drive that starts in Chicago, the road cuts down through Illinois to St. Louis, and ends in Santa Monica, California.
