AND-Gated Intramolecular Confined CHA Converts Forked DNA Probes into Brushlike Assemblies for Tumor-Cell Imaging
Sensitive and selective imaging of low-abundance intracellular biomarkers is important for cellular analysis and disease-related biomarker evaluation, but it is often hampered by insufficient sensitivity and false-positive signals from single-target analysis. Herein, we developed a dual-locked forked DNA fluorescent probe (DL-forked probe) that integrated intramolecular confined catalytic hairpin assembly (intra-CHA) with AND-logic gating.
Photoactivated Platinum Complexes: Targeting Membrane Proteins and Organelles for Precision Cancer Therapy
1 Introduction Photodynamic therapy (PDT) is a clinically approved, minimally invasive treatment that combines a photosensitizer (PS), molecular oxygen (O2), and light to generate cytotoxic reactive oxygen species (ROS) for targeted tumor ablation [1-3]. As illustrated in Figure 1a, the PDT process begins with the photoexcitation of the PS from its ground singlet state (S0) to an excited singlet state (S1), followed by intersystem crossing (ISC) to a metastable triplet state (T1) [4, 5].
Taohe Chengqi Decoction Attenuates Cognitive Impairment in Experimental Sepsis-Associated Encephalopathy
1 Introduction Sepsis-associated encephalopathy (SAE) is a severe neurological syndrome characterized by a diffuse brain dysfunction induced by sepsis, a life-threatening condition caused by the body's dysregulated response to an infection [1]. Delirium often occurs at the onset of SAE, which is quickly followed by a rapid deterioration of mental status, characterized by memory and verbal deficits and possible onset of coma [2].
BRD2 impedes iPSC reprogramming by regulating lipid biosynthesis and the matrisome via its ET tail
Abstract Induction of human pluripotent stem cells (hiPSCs) from somatic cells encounters significant barriers that remain poorly understood. Lipids are fundamental cellular molecules with many essential roles. However, the roles of lipids in reprogramming are unknown. Here, we show that BRD2 is a barrier to hiPSC reprogramming by suppressing lipid genes and maintaining the somatic transcriptional program, particularly the somatic matrisome program.
Association between dietary patterns and biological aging among Chinese middle-aged and older adults: evidence from a cross-sectional study
Abstract Background: Previous studies have shown that dietary patterns are associated with health outcomes in Chinese middle-aged and older adults. However, whether dietary patterns are associated with Klemera-Doubal biological age (KDM-BA) and physiological dysregulation (PD) remains unclear. Methods: This cross-sectional study included 4,846 adults aged 45 years and older from the 2009 wave of the China Health and Nutrition Survey (CHNS).

Two-dimensional polyaniline crystal with metallic out-of-plane conductivity
Linear conducting polymers show ballistic transport, imposed by mobile carriers moving along the polymer chains1,2, whereas conductance in the extended dimension, that is, between polymer strands or layers, remains weak due to the lack of intermolecular ordering and electronic coupling3, 4–5. Here we report a multilayer-stacked two-dimensional polyaniline (2DPANI) crystal, which shows metallic out-of-plane charge transport with high electrical conductivity.

Two-dimensional talc as a natural hyperbolic material
Abstract This study demonstrates that two-dimensional talc, a naturally abundant mineral, supports hyperbolic phonon-polaritons (HPhPs) at mid-infrared wavelengths, thus offering a low-cost alternative to synthetic polaritonic materials. Using scattering scanning near-field optical microscopy (s-SNOM) and synchrotron infrared nano spectroscopy (SINS), we reveal tunable HPhP modes in talc flakes of a long lifetime.

Scale-tailored localization and its observation in non-Hermitian electrical circuits - Nature Communications
Abstract Anderson localization and non-Hermitian skin effect are two paradigmatic wave localization phenomena, resulting from wave interference and the intrinsic non-Hermitian point gap, respectively. In this study, we unveil a novel localization phenomenon associated with long-range asymmetric coupling, termed scale-tailored localization, where the number of induced localized modes and their localization lengths scale exclusively with the coupling range.

Spread complexity and dynamical transition in multimode Bose-Einstein condensates
We study the spread complexity in two-mode Bose-Einstein condensates and unveil that the long-time average of the spread complexity C¯K can probe the dynamical transition from self-trapping to Josephson oscillation. When the parameter ω increases over a critical value ωc, we reveal that the spread complexity exhibits a sharp transition from lower to higher value, with the corresponding phase space trajectory changing from self-trapping to Josephson oscillation.
