Author Correction: FcRH5×CD3 bispecific antibody cevostamab in relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma: a phase 1 trial
Correction to: Nature Medicine https://doi.org/10.1038/s41591-026-04522-3, published online 22 July 2026. In the version of the article initially published, in Extended Data Fig. 3b, the left x-axis label of both panels was “No 1q gain or amp” but should have been “1q normal”. This correction has been made to the HTML and PDF versions of the article.
Where do I begin with... Talking Heads?
Ahead of next months launch of their pop-up channel Talking Heads Radio, Simon Harrison explores the best - and the worst - records of the New York pioneers back pages “There’s a city in my mind / Come along and take that ride / And it’s all right…” is about as humdrum as it gets when written down, and yet almost all of us here know that this is the pitch-shift point in “Road to Nowhere”, where the hairs stand up on your arms and you lock yourself in for the finale. My God.
Where do I begin with... Sparks
A guide through the best – and one slightly less great – albums of the Mael brothers. So the argument here is that Sparks are the greatest U.S. band of the last 50 years. Yes, fine, you immediately recoil, a bunch of competing names spring to mind and you throw them before you can sift them. I guarantee those bands you are screaming shone brightly and only briefly, they hit a peak and struggled (if they lasted) to recreate it, and many of them bored the fan base before they split.

A Duran Duran victory lap at Hyde Park reminds us why they outlasted the sneers
For a band that offered (not one but) two fantastical escapes from the drear of 80s Britain via a solid platform of quality sing-along tunes from singles-laden albums, this always seemed mean-spirited. Was it fantastical escape number 1 that grated: high-fashion, yachts, linen, and men looking good in tight white trousers?
Odysseus - In Defiance of the Gods. The Collection
Campaign Rewards Creator FAQ Community Story The Odyssey retold like never before. A myth reborn. A hero redefined. A journey you won’t forget. "An ambitious, accessible, attractively illustrated comics take on the Ulysses epic. Comics beats Christopher Nolan to the punch." Rob Williams - Writer: Judge Dredd, Amazing Spider-Man, Petrol Head. “This fresh re-telling invigorates a classic tale and pushes you in new exciting directions at the same time.
Sparks prove that devotion deepens with age
Gritted-teeth tension though is quickly dispelled by the sea of Sparks attire on display on entering the grounds of Wren’s grand almshouse, attire which is well beyond t-shirts and well into hoodies, hats and even rosettes (perhaps as a nod to the gymkhana-ing folk nearby). This is pleasant surprise number 1. Surprise number 2, which is ambivalent, is that this Sparks audience has collapsed back to its core, shorn of the weight of the curious brought in by Edgar’s Wright’s magnificent film.
Bazball exile exposes ugly Ashes blunder as stunning burst rocks Kiwis in SIXTEEN wicket carnage
England’s Ollie Robinson marked his first Test for more than two years with four wickets, including three in a sensational opening over, as New Zealand collapsed to 61-6 at stumps at Lord’s on Thursday. This is the 150th Test at Lord’s and rarely in the long history of the London ground can the first day have been quite so dramatic, with 16 wickets in total falling before bad light cut short play.

A roadmap for establishing institutional readiness for cellular therapies targeting solid tumours and autoimmune diseases
|
Abstract Adoptive cellular therapies have revolutionised treatment of haematological malignancies and demonstrate potential in solid tumours and autoimmune disease. Real-world implementation remains limited by biological, logistical, and manufacturing barriers, restricting global uptake despite a rapidly expanding clinical trial portfolio. Effective implementation requires national and institutional readiness, multidisciplinary collaboration, scalable manufacturing, and robust infrastructure.

Megadeth at the O2 Arena, London: Countdown to extinction | Live review Original
In 2025, a time of megastadiums in megacities for megastars, and ticket prices that have become calculable as a proportion of income, we have to be at breaking point. It’s pretty simple folks: are you now being asked to feel lucky for having secured a ticket for many hundreds of pounds? Will you see the band as anything more than tiny people in the distance? Did you accept or miss out on the option to go Platinum for the t-shirt, cup and spoon experience?
Gastric Mixing and Acid Diffusion in a Human Stomach Simulated Using Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics
1 Introduction Digestive processes in the stomach can be divided into two main steps: mechanical and chemical breakdown (Bornhorst and Singh 2014). Mechanical breakdown involves processes such as crushing, fracturing, and squeezing and is caused by the deformation of the food arising from interaction with the contracting stomach wall and the applied fluid stresses (Bornhorst et al. 2016).
Where do I begin with... The Lemonheads
I grew up in a world of exotic objects which largely owed their powers to their provenance. Sure, sometimes their content was a power source but this always came after you’d already been wowed by who was carrying it, where it came from or what it looked like. Strangeness and novelty were the not-infrequent and joyful prizes in our disconnected analogue world. From the next county? What is it, what is it? Your cousin with a job got an import? Oh my word! The cool kid from the other school? You know him?
Deformation, mechanical breakdown, and flow of soft solid foods in the stomach
Deformation, mechanical breakdown, and flow of soft solid foods in the stomach Mechanical changes to solid foods in the stomach are crucial aspects of processes for regulating nutrient bioavailability, satiety, and glycaemic response after a meal. However, the underlying mechanisms are poorly understood.
Rewiring endogenous genes in CAR T cells for tumour-restricted payload delivery - Nature
Abstract The efficacy of chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy in solid tumours is limited by immunosuppression and antigen heterogeneity1,2,3. To overcome these barriers, ‘armoured’ CAR T cells, which secrete proinflammatory cytokines, have been developed4. However, their clinical application has been limited because of toxicity related to peripheral expression of the armouring transgene5.

Cricket Australia 2025, mens contract list winners and losers, players: Sean Abbott and Todd Murphy axed, Mitch Marsh spared
Cricket Australia has announced a relatively stable men’s contract list for a bumper 2025/26 season, but there have still been several big calls made. The first 28 days of TFG…
Well, here we are… 28 days into The Friedkin Group's ownership of our football club. Which means we are 28 days into the 'reported' 100-day operational review period that has been associated with how TFG work with newly acquired assets. The story so far: TFG took over on 19 December 2024. On the day of the takeover, our new executive owner, Dan Friedkin, made a statement, followed quickly by the announcement of changes to our Board of Directors.
Out with the new and in with the old!
Over the preceding 6 or 8 weeks, seemingly people have been sounding the clarion calls for The Friedkin Group (TFG) takeover, with their purported 'modus operandi' of stabilising their football club acquisitions financially before moving on to making said clubs more professional.
Everton takeover on course for December completion
There has been some more clarity regarding The Friedkin Group takeover of Everton released by i News and carried elsewhere, apparently garnered from an article at the Josimar independent website.
Collaborative focus on resource use alongside net zero is vital
The new UK government has a firm focus on decarbonisation which it has already made clear with the mission it has set out on electricity with moving the net zero target date from 2035 to 2030. Nonetheless, there is only so much that government can do to aid the infrastructure industry in achieving net zero by 2050 – and we need to think about more than just net zero too.

FOXO1 enhances CAR T cell stemness, metabolic fitness and efficacy - Nature
|
Abstract Chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy has transformed the treatment of haematological malignancies such as acute lymphoblastic leukaemia, B cell lymphoma and multiple myeloma1,2,3,4, but the efficacy of CAR T cell therapy in solid tumours has been limited5. This is owing to a number of factors, including the immunosuppressive tumour microenvironment that gives rise to poorly persisting and metabolically dysfunctional T cells.

Liverpool Echo dismiss Daily Mail's Matt Hughes
15/12/2023 I thought I would post something to try to allay the fears of any TWer who thinks that this mighty institution is facing near imminent Administration and all that would involve. Following Matt Hughes of the Daily Mail causing a media frenzy of 'Everton are doomed, doomed I tell you!' with his article about the apparent immediate descent into Administration. As the article is barely anything other than muck-spreading, innuendo and uninformed opinion, I refuse to post a link here.

Premier League using the wrong case as precedent
by | 08/12/2023 I think that the Premier League's independent commission looking into the Everton case looked at the wrong precedent. The Sheffield Wednesday (SW) case was incorrect to use as the EFL acknowledged that SW had spent 48% over the EFL's £35M limit and that SW derived a clear sporting advantage. Additionally, not only did SW admit their guilt to the case brought against them, they too admitted that they derived a clear sporting advantage from their overspend.

A Bloody Entertaining History of Jersey #2
In ABEHOJ#1 we began around 250,000 years ago and got up to the landmark year of 1204 when King John of England was defeated at the Siege of Rouen by the French. Normandy was now lost forever... but not our beloved Jersey! The islanders chose to swear allegiance to King John of England and not King Philippe-Auguste of France, partly due to certain sweeteners John threw into the deal such as Jersey being exempt from English tax laws; Jersey chose the money... and unashamedly still does to this day.

Crown Dependencies Key To UK Cannabis Reform
With their nascent medicinal cannabis cultivation industries, Crown Dependencies such as Guernsey, Jersey and the Isle of Man are well-positioned to advance reform of Britain’s approach to cannabis. As independent, self-governing jurisdictions, the Crown Dependencies each have their own Misuse of Drugs legislation, which largely mirrors that of the UK. Hypothetically, they could pass their own legislation to implement local, regulated cannabis markets.

This was not a petty fire. The zooming intensity and density of the black smoke that some may consider battling through to rescue small little possessions (phone, laptop, records..., etc.) pushed me back on my first (and only) attempt.
Infectious complications of bispecific antibody therapy in patients with multiple myeloma - Blood Cancer Journal
Introduction Infection has a significant impact on patients with multiple myeloma (MM) [1]. Bispecific antibody (BsAb) therapy with multiple targets (BCMA, GPRC5D and FCRH5) is increasingly used with good disease response rates [2]. Trial data on infections has been limited, with incidences of all-grade infections reported at 13–76% and grade ≥3 at 3–45% [3, 4]. However, the diagnostic criteria used and infection episodes were not well characterised.
Evaluation of SPH and FVM Models of Kinematically Prescribed Peristalsis-like Flow in a Tube
Abstract : Peristaltic flow is important in many biological processes, including digestion, and forms an important component of any in silico model of the stomach. There is a clear need to verify the simulations of such flows. An analytical solution was identified that can be used for model verification, which gives an equation for the net volumetric flow over a cycle for an applied sinusoidal wall motion.
