CircRNA-mediated regulation of ferroptosis in cancer: mechanistic networks and therapeutic implications Original
Abstract Ferroptosis is an iron-dependent form of regulated cell death driven by lipid peroxidation. In cancer, metabolic reprogramming is characterized by enhanced iron uptake, altered lipid metabolism, and sustained oxidative stress, creating a paradoxical state that increases vulnerability to ferroptosis while simultaneously activating antioxidant defense systems to sustain survival.
Association between hippocampal ferroptosis-related changes and behavioral alterations in CCI rats with neuropathic pain
Abstract This study aimed to characterize behavioral alterations induced by chronic constriction injury (CCI) of the sciatic nerve and hippocampal ferroptosis in rats and to explore the association between hippocampal ferroptosis and behavioral changes accompanying neuropathic pain (NP). Ferrostatin-1 (10 mg/kg) and Erastin (10 mg/kg) were injected intraperitoneally into thirty-two male SD rats for two consecutive days.

This study examined primary information sources and their associations with self-reported contraceptive familiarity and education needs in a multi-province sample.
Therapy-related acute myeloid leukemia with 24-month latency after CD19 CAR-T cell therapy in relapsed/refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma: a case report
Abstract Background: Therapy-related myeloid neoplasms (t-MNs) have emerged as a serious late complication of CD19-directed chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy. While large-scale studies have characterized the epidemiology of t-MNs, the mechanisms underlying their development remain incompletely understood, and cases with extended latency are rarely documented.
Expert consensus on treatment of condylar hyperplasia and secondary dento-maxillofacial deformities
|
Abstract Condylar hyperplasia (CH), characterized by progressive facial deviation, occlusion disorders, and temporomandibular joint dysfunction, often requires combined temporomandibular joint (TMJ)-orthognathic interventions to reconstruct joint and occlusal functions as well as rebuilding harmonious facial expressions. Managing the dentomaxillofacial deformities secondary to CH involves hyperplastic condylar resection, orthognathic surgery, facial contour surgery and orthodontic treatment.

Case Report: aleukemic mast cell leukemia with KIT p.V559G mutation, CD25-negative immunophenotype, and complex karyotype
Abstract Mast cell leukemia (MCL), the most aggressive and often fatal subtype of systemic mastocytosis, is predominantly driven by KIT mutations, with the KIT p.D816V mutation being the most prevalent. Rare noncanonical KIT mutations remain poorly characterized, particularly when combined with a CD25−negative immunophenotype and high−risk cytogenetics.
Global Soil Water Stable Isotope Dataset
Abstract Soil water is a key medium linking the atmosphere, vegetation, and groundwater systems, and its stable isotopes (2H and 18O) are powerful tracers of ecohydrological processes. However, historical soil-water isotope observations remain fragmented, lack structurally harmonized formatting, and are unevenly distributed in space and time, which severely constrains cross-regional and global-scale research.

To further explore the mechanisms underlying nurse turnover, this study focuses on the mediating role of work engagement, examining the relationship between hospital safety climate, work engagement, and turnover intention.
Suppressing electron-phonon coupling in perovskite nanoplatelets for efficient pure-red light-emitting diodes with narrow spectral emission
Abstract Perovskite light-emitting diodes are promising for next-generation ultrahigh-definition displays, yet efficient pure-red emission (620-650 nm) with high spectral purity remains challenging, with emission linewidths commonly exceeding 30 nm. CsPbI3 nanoplatelets feature the potential for narrow-linewidth emission owing to strong vertical quantum confinement and atomic-level flat surface.

Study of the biofilm mechanism of C4-HSL and C6-HSL in the degradation of quinoline
Introduction Quinoline is a typical polycyclic aromatic nitrogen heterocyclic compound, that is widely found in pharmaceutical, agricultural and coking wastewaters, with good solubility and low biodegradability (Wang et al., 2020). With its widespread availability, it has become a common contaminants in groundwater and soil, and is acutely toxic to aquatic organisms such as fish, Daphnia and green algae (Zhang et al., 2022). It can have a serious impact on human health through the food chain.

Nitrogen removal in freshwater sediments of riparian zone: N-loss pathways and environmental controls
1. Introduction As a basic component of organisms, nitrogen is also a necessary nutrient element for biological growth (Liu et al., 2019). According to statistics, with the growth of the world’s population and the intensification of agricultural production methods (Basu et al., 2022), the annual amount of nitrogen produced by human activities (about 210 Tg) is 3.6 times that of biological natural nitrogen fixation (Fowler et al., 2013; Zheng et al., 2021).
Frontiers | Synergistic interactions between anammox and dissimilatory nitrate reducing bacteria sustains reactor performance across variable nitrogen loading ratios
1. Introduction Nitrogen removal from wastewater is paramount to the remediation of anthropogenic nutrient pollution and the protection of sensitive aquatic environments (USEPA, 2007; Smith and Schindler, 2009; Davidson et al., 2014). One strategy to remove nitrogen from wastewater is anaerobic ammonium oxidation (anammox), in which ammonium (NH4+) is anaerobically oxidized using nitrite (NO2−) as an electron acceptor (Mulder et al., 1995; van de Graaf et al., 1995; Strous et al., 1998).
