Adaptive and Highly Efficient Thermoregulation Based on Multi-Dimensional Janus Film
1 Introduction Space thermoregulation plays a pivotal role in ensuring human comfort and promoting environmental sustainability, particularly in light of the substantial energy demands of traditional heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, which account for approximately 32%–33% of global energy consumption [1-4]. Conventional thermoregulation devices typically employ static modes of either cooling or heating, which limit their adaptability across varying scenarios [5-8].
Effects of maternal exposure to an adsorbed acellular diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis (reduced-dose) combined vaccine on prenatal and postnatal development in Sprague-Dawley rats: a preclinical study
Abstract Introduction: The resurgence of pertussis poses a severe threat to infants under 3 months of age due to an inherent early-life “immunity gap.” While maternal immunization with the tetanus, diphtheria, and acellular pertussis (Tdap/Tdacp) vaccine effectively mitigates this risk globally, no such vaccine is currently licensed for maternal use in China.
Preclinical study on an adsorbed acellular diphtheria- tetanus-pertussis (reduced-dose) combined vaccine: evaluation of reproductive safety and immunogenicity
Abstract Introduction: The diphtheria, tetanus, and acellular pertussis combined vaccine (DTaP) is a trivalent formulation containing acellular pertussis antigens, diphtheria toxoid, and tetanus toxoid, and provides simultaneous protection against pertussis, diphtheria, and tetanus.
A three-dimensional spatial transcriptome atlas reconstructs early organogenesis in primate Carnegie stages 9 and 10 embryos
Abstract The early organogenesis stage is a critical phase of embryogenesis that lays the foundation for organ development, and is characterized by dynamic and spatially organized transcriptional programs. However, limited spatial transcriptomic information has constrained our understanding of early primate organogenesis.

Lymphatic Malformations with Activating KRAS Mutations Impair Lymphatic Valve Development Through Matrix Metalloproteinases
Abstract BACKGROUND: Lymphatic malformations (LMs) are lesions due to inherited or somatic mutations that lead to a defective lymphatic vasculature. Activating KRAS mutations have been identified recently in LM patients with lymphedema, chylous ascites, or life-threatening chylothorax. In a LM mouse model, KRAS mutations are associated with a loss of lymphatic valves, which has been proposed to cause chylothorax via retrograde lymph flow into the pleural space.

Scale drop disease virus (SDDV) triggering ferroptosis both in vivo and in vitro facilitates virus infection via targeting transferrin receptor 1 (TfR1)
Abstract Scale drop disease virus (SDDV) is a distinct member in genus Megalocytivirus of family Iridoviridae, garnering increasing attention due to its significant threat to teleost. Ferroptosis is a new type of cell death discovered recently and involved in various viral infections. Knowledges on SDDV induced ferroptosis remains unclear.

Lats1/2 are essential for developmental vascular remodeling and biomechanical adaptation to shear stress
Abstract Blood vessels in mammalian embryos develop from initial aggregates of endothelial cell (EC) progenitors, which coordinate the opening and stabilization of central vascular lumens, all while under progressively increasing flow and pressure from blood circulation. Mechanical cues exerted by shear stress from the blood flow remodel an initial vascular plexus into a ramifying array of large and small vessels.
Effect of Cr3+ occupying an extremely weak crystal field on down-conversion of β-PbF2:Er3+/Yb3+/Cr3+ glass-ceramic composites
Effect of Cr3+ occupying an extremely weak crystal field on down-conversion of β-PbF2:Er3+/Yb3+/Cr3+ glass–ceramic composites The influence of Cr3+ on the down-conversion luminescence (DCL) of β-PbF2:Er3+/Yb3+/Cr3+ glass–ceramic composites was studied. Under the excitation of a 378 nm xenon lamp, β-PbF2:Er3+/Yb3+/Cr3+ glass–ceramic composites exhibit bright DCL with a spectral width ranging from 480 nm to 720 nm, which is reported for the first time.
Ru-anchoring Co-MOF-derived porous Ru-Co3O4 nanomaterials for enhanced oxygen evolution activity and structural stability
Ru-anchoring Co-MOF-derived porous Ru-Co3O4 nanomaterials for enhanced oxygen evolution activity and structural stability Electrocatalytic water electrolysis is intrinsically limited by the slow kinetics of the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) at the anodic electrode. Building on our previous work, we utilized a porous metal-organic framework (CoOF-1) structurally characterized by rich adsorption sites for Ru(III) ions.

Iron-cobalt nanoparticles dispersed in indium-based MIL-68-derived carbon nanosticks for water oxidation FeCo-based catalysts exhibit excellent oxygen evolution reaction (OER) in terms of high activity and robust stability. Herein, the dispersed bimetallic FeCo nanoparticles can be effectively encapsulated into an isostructural In-based MIL-68-derived carbon nanosticks, denoted as MIL-68-FeCo-C.
Spatiotemporally resolved transcriptome atlas of developing mouse placenta reveals mechanisms of embryonic lethality.
Abstract Proper placentation is essential for embryonic growth and viability, yet the spatial organization and interactions of placental cell types remain incompletely understood. Here, we present a spatiotemporal transcriptomic atlas of the mouse placenta (STAMP) from embryonic days 9.5 to 18.5 at single-cell resolution. This atlas delineates major placental cell types and developmental trajectories.

Systematic comparison of sequencing-based spatial transcriptomic methods
Abstract Recent advancements of sequencing-based spatial transcriptomics (sST) have catalyzed significant advancements by facilitating transcriptome-scale spatial gene expression measurement. Despite this progress, efforts to comprehensively benchmark different platforms are currently lacking. The extant variability across technologies and datasets poses challenges in formulating standardized evaluation metrics.

Advances in the Efficient Enrichment of Anammox Bacteria
Abstract : Anaerobic ammonia oxidation (anammox) process is known as a low-energy and environmentally friendly process for treating nitrogen-rich wastewater. Anammox bacteria are the key microorganisms to achieve this biological process. However, the efficient enrichment of anammox bacteria has been a bottleneck for its practical application because of their slow growth and high sensitivity, and no pure culture has been found.

Influence of gut microbiota on mucosal IgA antibody response to the polio vaccine
Abstract The impact of intestinal microbiota on mucosal antibody response to the polio vaccine is poorly understood. We examined changes in vaccine-induced intestinal mucosal immunity to poliovirus by measuring the immunoglobulin A (IgA) antibody levels in stool samples collected from 107 infants in China, and the samples were collected 14 days after different sequential vaccinations combining inactivated polio vaccine (IPV) with oral poliovirus vaccine (OPV).
