RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) - South Dakota’s new government accountability law is already catching serious misconduct among state workers, with investigators securing four criminal indictments in just six months. The law requires state employees to report wrongdoing. Attorney General Marty Jackley released a report showing 47 reports have been filed since the law took effect in July, with none deemed false. The cases uncovered, however, reveal deeply alarming crimes.
