AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (WNEM) - Two people are injured and one person is in custody after a shooting at Great Lakes Crossing. The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office reports it is assisting the Auburn Hills Police Department following the shooting at the mall Saturday. “Preliminary information indicates two individuals sustained injuries. One suspect is in custody,” the sheriff’s office said.

The Swartz Creek Community Schools board rejected an offer tied to the Mundy Township megasite. Supporters said the megasite could bring thousands of jobs, while others questioned how the project has moved forward. Maple & Hill LLC offered about $40 million for the property at Maple Avenue and Linden Road.
