Euchromatin forms condensed domains with short active regions on the surface
Abstract The three-dimensional organization of enhancers and promoters at nucleosome resolution remains poorly resolved, limiting our understanding of the structural basis of transcriptional regulation. Here, we developed a simulation framework that leverages region-capture micro-C contact maps to infer conformational ensembles of megabase-scale regions at nucleosome resolution. A key component of this framework is a micro-C balancing strategy that identifies variation in contact density.
PDLIM2 suppresses the progression of hepatocellular carcinoma via enhancing lipid peroxidation through promoting the ubiquitin-mediated proteasomal degradation of ARL14EP
Abstract Our previous studies have established that PDZ and LIM domain 2 (PDLIM2) played an inhibitory role in the progression of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). However, the underlying regulatory mechanisms remain incompletely understood. In this study, we identified ADP-ribosylation factor-like 14 effector protein (ARL14EP) as a potential ubiquitination substrate of PDLIM2 through combined analysis of ubiquitination modification omics and proteomics.
Iodide-bridged interfacial hydrogen bonds enable ampere-level electrosynthesis of deuterated acetic acid
Abstract Electrochemical dehalogenative deuteration in D2O offers a sustainable and site-specific strategy for synthesizing deuterated molecules. However, this process is limited by restricted deuterium transfer in the interfacial hydrogen bond gap zone at the alkaline interface, resulting in a sluggish reaction rate.
Case Report: JAK1 inhibition after dupilumab discontinuation in pediatric atopic dermatitis complicated by pre-existing or emerging vitiligo
Abstract Background: Atopic dermatitis (AD) and vitiligo are pediatric immune-mediated inflammatory skin diseases with distinct but potentially overlapping immune mechanisms. Dupilumab targets interleukin (IL)-4 and IL-13 signaling and is effective for moderate-to-severe AD. However, the coexistence, emergence, or progression of vitiligo during dupilumab therapy may create therapeutic challenges when both eczematous inflammation and melanocyte-directed autoimmunity require control.
Air pollution exposure and cataract outcomes: a systematic review and pollutant-specific meta-analysis
Abstract Background: Air pollution is increasingly recognized as a potentially modifiable environmental determinant of age-related ocular disease, but its association with cataract remains incompletely characterized. Epidemiological evidence remains heterogeneous across pollutants and study methods, although emerging experimental findings support biological plausibility for pollution-related lens injury.

Post-Fire Soil Organic Carbon Dynamics: Decline and Recovery Over Two Decades
1 Introduction The occurrence of forest fires poses a direct threat to forests. Forest fires increase the likelihood of soil erosion (Shakesby 2011; Vieira et al. 2026), leading to changes in soil carbon movement and carbon dynamics. Forest fires also exacerbate global warming by emitting large amounts of carbon dioxide, thereby affecting the global ecological environment (Lv and Shi 2023).

High probability multiplexed multi-port single-photon source based on combinatorial heralding
Abstract Scalable quantum photonic technologies require the simultaneous production of highly indistinguishable multi-photon states with high probability. This need may be met, and the output probability significantly increased by multiplexed sources, which channel numerous low-probability heralded single-photon sources into a specified output mode using time or spatial multiplexing.
Phosphorene dominated integrative dual-electric field guiding charge flow for vapor-fed photocatalytic hydrogen evolution
Abstract Manipulating oriented electron flow and tailored reaction microenvironments in radial-unguided two-dimensional phosphorene remains challenging. Here, we show that Rh-decorated violet/black phosphorus heterostructures, engineered with integrative dual-electric fields from cooperative phase and fringing electric field, enable efficient vapor-fed photocatalytic hydrogen production. This dual-electric field establishes a strong intrinsic charge driving force and edge charge ordering.
Coupled electrosynthesis of formamide with ~100% carbon and nitrogen selectivity via matching cathode‒anode local pH
Abstract The electrochemical construction of C–N bonds from abundant carbon-containing and nitrogen-containing small molecules is critical for the green synthesis of amides. However, the sole conversion without C–N coupling and low-value water splitting at the counter electrode are inevitable, leading to low selectivity and faradic efficiency.
Free electron topological bound state induced by a light beam with a twisted wavefront
