Who's your favorite fictional journalist?
I relate to Alexander Knox in the Batman movie. I know that's obscure, but I appreciate that he believed in his story when no one else did.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I wrote a story about a local OBGYN facing medical malpractice suits. It was a topic few journalists will touch.
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
I get so many bad pitches every day that this is hard to answer.
Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?
The New York Times is the gold standard. I also like Talking Points Memo for political commentary.
