PD releases name of man who died after being shot, crashing car in Maryvale

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Investigators have released the name of a man who died after being shot and crashing his car in Maryvale late last week. Phoenix police have identified him as 48-year-old Otis Sueing, Jr. Around 2 a.m. on Friday, June 19, first responders were called to Weldon Avenue, near 43rd Avenue and Indian School Road. There, officers found Sueing with serious injuries. He was taken to a hospital, where he later died.

Man critically hurt after being shot before crash in Maryvale, police say

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A man is fighting for his life after being shot before crashing in Maryvale early Friday morning. Around 2 a.m., first responders were called to a shooting on Weldon Avenue, a residential street near 43rd Avenue and Indian School Road. When officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot, according to Phoenix police. He was taken to a hospital in extremely critical condition. Investigators believe the man was shot, drove away and then crashed near where officers found him.
