WSP seeks witnesses in Renton hit-and-run involving pedestrian

RENTON, Wash. — Detectives with the Washington State Patrol (WSP) are seeking witnesses to a hit-and-run crash which occurred over the weekend involving a vehicle and a pedestrian. The occurred on Sunday, Nov. 16, at approximately 9:30 p.m. on SR 900 near 164th Avenue SE in Renton. Investigators say a driver in a Honda Accord struck a pedestrian and then fled the scene, according to WSP. The vehicle was last seen turning southbound onto SE May Valley Road.

Deputies Investigate Stabbing Near Glacier Middle School

SEATAC, Wash. — Deputies responded to a reported stabbing Monday morning in the 14000 block of Military Road South, according to the King County Sheriff’s Office. A spokesperson for the department said deputies were called around 10:20 a.m. and found one stabbing victim at the scene. The victim’s condition has not yet been released. No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing. As a precaution, nearby Glacier Middle School was placed on lockdown while deputies secured the area.

Vandalism in Kent disrupts Comcast services, repairs ongoing

KENT, Wash. — Some Xfinity customers in Kent are experiencing service disruptions after vandals reportedly damaged network lines. According to Comcast, the damage was caused around 8:30 a.m. Monday, causing some Kent customers to lose internet and cable services. In a post to Facebook, the City of Kent detailed that  Xfinity and Comcast Business customers in the area of north Kent, along West Valley, may be seeing impacts to service.
