NAT10-mediated ac 4 C acetylation of PPFIA4 mRNA drives papillary thyroid carcinoma progression and lymph node metastasis by rewiring focal adhesion signaling
Abstract Thyroid cancer, predominantly papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC), has become the fastest-growing malignancy in terms of incidence rate. RNA epitranscriptomic modifications such as N4-acetylcytidine (ac4C) play crucial roles in cancer progression, yet their function in PTC remains unclear. This study demonstrates that NAT10 and ac4C levels are upregulated in PTC and correlate with lymph node metastasis. The transcription factor ATF2, highly expressed in PTC, drives NAT10 upregulation.

Ultrasensitive biosensing by radiative Q -factor modulation in strongly coupled three-dimensional bound-state-in-the-continuum metasurfaces
Abstract Sensitive, label-free detection of biomarkers is critical for clinical diagnostics. However, conventional nanophotonic biosensors typically remain confined to either the real or imaginary components of the refractive index. This isolation results in weak signal responses, limited operational stability and high instrumental complexity. Here we introduce a Q-modulated refractometric sensing mechanism that operates in the complex-variable domain.

However, an external mechanism in China plays a significant role—prioritizing the performance ranking of fiscal transparency among provinces.
Effector conformational plasticity enables lineage-specific secretion via Hcp heterohexamers in gut symbionts - Nature Communications
Abstract The Type VI Secretion System (T6SS) delivers effectors to mediate interbacterial competition. While the conserved hexameric Hcp ring is acknowledged as a key effector carrier, the mechanism by which it recognizes and accommodates structurally diverse cargos remains unclear. Notably, gut-dominant Bacteroidota species encode at least five hcp genes within their T6SS loci, yet the biological significance of this multiplicity is unknown.
