G-protein-coupled receptor sensing of farnesol controls fungal dormancy and is susceptible to bacterial interference
Abstract Conidial dormancy is a critical survival strategy for fungi under stress, yet the mechanisms governing the switch between dormancy and germination remain unclear. Here we identify the G-protein-coupled receptor, Rsd1, as a farnesol-responsive sensor controlling this dormancy switch in the plant pathogen Fusarium pseudograminearum, which causes Fusarium crown rot.

Editing Susceptibility Genes for Broad-Spectrum Resistance in Plants: From Passive Knockout to Active Design
1 Introduction Crop disease resistance breeding has long been haunted by a bitter choice. Deploy race-specific resistance (R) genes and then surrender them to rapid pathogen evolution, or inactivate susceptibility (S) genes at the cost of yield penalties. This places breeders in a perpetual cycle of passive chasing. The canonical example of mlo-mediated powdery mildew resistance proved that S-gene loss-of-function can confer durable, broad-spectrum immunity (Acevedo-Garcia et al. 2017).
Community Incidence of Influenza Virus Infections During Postpandemic Seasons in China, 2022–2025: A Serial Prospective Cohort Study
1 Introduction Pandemic and seasonal influenza viruses impose a substantial global burden on morbidity and mortality [1, 2]. In developed countries, epidemiological features and disease burden associated with influenza have been increasingly understood [3, 4]. China is a large country spanning diverse climatic zones, resulting in varied seasonal influenza patterns [5, 6]. However, comprehensive data on influenza epidemiology and its public health impact remain limited in mainland China.

Modulating endergonic triplet photosensitization for cycloadditions between bicyclo[1.1.0]butanes and alkenes
Abstract While energy transfer photocatalysis has recently been used in the synthesis of multisubstituted polycyclic alkanes as benzene bioisosteres, the use of highly reactive noble-metal and organo-photocatalysts often leads to rapid generation of diradical intermediates, triggering polymerization side reactions and limiting functional-group tolerance.

Foundation model-enhanced multimodal survival prediction in glioblastoma across multi-institutional cohorts
Abstract MRI foundation models (FMs) have shown potential for improving performance of neuroimaging tasks, but their value specifically in Glioblastoma overall survival risk prediction remains unclear. In this study, we explored foundation model initialization for preoperative risk prediction using publicly available structural MRIs from 1007 patients across three glioblastoma cohorts: UPENN-GBM, UCSF-PDGM and TCGA-GBM.
Asymptotic synchronisation of quaternion-valued neutral-type Cohen-Grossberg neural networks with time-delays by non-decomposition method
This paper aims to study the asymptotic synchronisation problem of quaternion-valued neutral-type Cohen-Grossberg neural networks with mixed time-delays. A novel controller with a simpler structure is designed to achieve the control objective, and several criteria for asymptotic synchronisation of neutral-type Cohen-Grossberg neural networks based on the quaternion are presented using some inequality techniques.

We included adults with hypomagnesemia or normomagnesemia post-cardiac surgery.
The oligosaccharyltransferase TaOST1B promotes viral infection by enhancement of RNA silencing suppression in wheat
Abstract Viral suppressors of RNA silencing (VSRs) are crucial for viral infection. Here, we show that a wheat (Triticum aestivum) oligosaccharyltransferase (TaOST1B) is associated with resistance to Wheat yellow mosaic virus (WYMV). TaOST1B interacts with WYMV-encoded P1 and enhances the VSR function of P1 by N-glycosylating its asparagine residue at position 116.

Sub-parts-per-billion CO 2 Detection based on Dissipative Whispering Gallery Mode Microcavity Sensor
Abstract Whispering gallery mode microcavities provide strong light–matter interactions owing to their ultrahigh optical confinement, but the small gas refractive index change limits their ability to sense trace gases. Here we show that gas absorption can be detected using a dissipative sensing mechanism in a non-functionalized whispering gallery mode microcavity.
Challenges in Interpreting MELATORCH Trial Outcomes—Reply
In Reply We thank Yuji and Li for their comments on the MELATORCH trial.1 We agree with the main point: the median progression-free survival (PFS) difference was small. However, a comparison of the treatment effect that considers only median survival time, a point estimate, is not sufficient to fully characterize the overall treatment effects.
