Adaptive-frequency-guided atmospheric turbulence mitigation for long-range optical video imaging
Atmospheric turbulence degrades long-range optical video imaging through time-varying distortion, spatially varying blur, and temporal instability. We propose AUTO, an adaptive-frequency-guided framework for turbulence video restoration. AUTO enhances turbulence-sensitive structural features, aligns distorted frames with guided deformable alignment, aggregates temporal information bidirectionally, and separates geometric stabilization from detail recovery.
PKM2 AP: a micropeptide inhibits vascular calcification via molecular glue-mediated ubiquitination of PKM2
Abstract Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a major global public health challenge, and cardiovascular complications such as vascular calcification (VC) are crucial in CKD-related mortality. Emerging evidence shows that open reading frames (ORFs) within non-coding genomic regions can encode micropeptides, but their roles in VC progression remain largely unexplored.
The CPKs-CBP60b positive feedback loop regulates immunity in Arabidopsis
INTRODUCTION Plants have evolved sophisticated and intricate mechanisms throughout their evolution to sense and respond to biotic stimuli from their fluctuating environments.
Connectivity and Selective Rural Migration
1 Introduction Low-income countries often face weak transportation infrastructure, which keeps internal trade costs high. These frictions limit access to domestic and global markets and slow the reallocation of labor from agriculture to more productive non-agricultural sectors, often widening rural-urban gaps (Young 2013; Pavcnik 2017).

Targeted degradation of P-TEFb via MDM2 substrate substitution collapses oncogenic transcriptional programs in MDM2 -amplified cancers
Abstract MDM2 is an oncogenic E3 ubiquitin ligase best known for targeting the tumor suppressor p53 and is frequently amplified in human cancers, including dedifferentiated liposarcoma (DDLPS). We show that supraphysiological MDM2 expression can be exploited to reprogram its ligase activity toward selective degradation of oncogenic transcriptional machinery.

Elevated CO 2 advances vegetation phenology
1 INTRODUCTION Vegetation phenology, defined as the seasonal timing of plant life cycle events, is fundamental to regulating carbon source-sink dynamics of terrestrial ecosystems (Jeong et al., 2012; Wu et al., 2013; Gu et al., 2022). However, climate changes, including warming, nitrogen deposition and elevated atmospheric CO2 concentrations (eCO2), are progressively shifting these phenological processes (Xia et al., 2024; Lu et al., 2024; Liu et al., 2025; Wang et al., 2025).
Canonical ETI-Dependent and -Independent Pathways Mediate Autoimmunity Caused by Loss of CBP60b Clade Function
1 Introduction Plants recognize pathogenic microorganisms through two primary immune pathways. Initially, pattern recognition receptors (PRRs) on the cell surface perceive pathogen-associated molecular patterns (PAMPs) or damage-associated molecular patterns (DAMPs) generated upon pathogen invasion, thereby activating pattern-triggered immunity (PTI) (Zhou and Zhang 2020; Ngou et al. 2022; Zhang et al. 2023; Weralupitiya et al. 2024).
Tissue-resident neutrophils serve homeostatic and immunological functions in embryos

Here, we analyze the production, distribution, and functions of neutrophils during embryonic development in the mouse.
Experimental demonstration of visual locating the underwater wireless optical communication device by using the communication signal as a guiding light
Underwater wireless optical communication (UWOC) is suited to transmit large volumes of data for ocean engineering. In practical applications, due to the quite significant attenuation of light in water, the transmission distance of UWOC is shorter. Furthermore, because light travels along straight lines, the two UWOC devices in a system should stay in the communication range and point to each other to establish an optical link.

Machine learning-optimized composting strategies can enhance nutrient recycling and transform food system waste into a net carbon sink
Abstract Composting organic waste offers a circular solution to recycle nutrients and restore soil health, but nitrogen (N) and carbon (C) losses during the process undermine its agricultural and climate benefits. Here, using a machine learning approach, we analyse 848 global manure, food waste and sewage sludge composting experiments, identifying 19 key management parameters that drive ammonia (NH3), nitrous oxide (N2O), methane (CH4) and carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions.
Copper ions restore antibacterial activity of tigecycline by regulating photodegradation pathway under light exposure
Abstract Photodegradation of tetracyclines is a research hotspot due to deactivation and toxic degradation products. We observed that only tigecycline and minocycline, at working concentrations, exhibit a reduction in antibacterial activity under light exposure. In contrast, other tetracyclines maintain antibacterial activity post-degradation. Here we have successfully identified chalcanthite, from the mineral drug resource library.
