Dinosaur fans can also see a traveling exhibition that brings life-sized animatronic dinosaurs to Lauritzen Gardens.Dinosaurs Around the World: The Great Outdoors features more than a dozen animatronic dinosaurs that move and make sound. The garden is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday through Sunday.

Derek Hough to bring “Symphony of Dance: ENCORE” to Omaha’s Orpheum Theater

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Emmy Award-winning dancer and choreographer, Derek Hough, is bringing his Symphony of Dance: ENCORE tour to Omaha’s Orpheum Theater on July 8. Hough said the production features a live band, a cast of dancers, and music spanning Latin, big band, and rock and roll genres. He said the show also includes an audience participation segment in which a volunteer is brought onstage to serve as a judge while Hough dances with them. “This show is unbelievable,” Hough said.

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Here’s a list of activities and events coming up in the Omaha metro this weekend. Watch Maria and Elaina on streaming, social media, and in the web player above at 9 a.m. Friday. The RiverFront’s fifth annual Fourth of July Celebration featuring the Omaha Symphony returns to the Performance Pavilion at Gene Leahy Mall on Saturday. The free event runs from 8:30 to 10 p.m. and is open to all ages. A fireworks display synchronized to live music will close the night.
