Nerve Ultrasound Features of Peripheral Nervous System Lymphoma and Non-Systemic Vasculitic Neuropathy
1 Introduction Peripheral nervous system lymphoma (PNSL) is a rare form of neurolymphomatosis, defined as lymphomatous infiltration of the peripheral nervous system. Neurolymphomatosis comprises primary and secondary forms, involving either the central or peripheral nervous system [1, 2]. Overall, neurolymphomatosis occurs in < 1% of all non-Hodgkin lymphomas (NHLs) [1], and diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is the predominant histological subtype [1, 2].
Differential effects of visual and tactile deprivation on spatially modulated cells in the medial entorhinal cortex
Abstract Spatial navigation requires internal maps to remain anchored to external sensory cues. The medial entorhinal cortex (MEC) contains spatially modulated cell types, but how visual and tactile cues jointly support them is unclear. Here we show, using miniature two-photon calcium imaging in freely moving male mice, that sensory deprivation has context-dependent effects.

This study aimed to investigate the effect of finerenone on sustained graded improvement of 24h-UTP and its safety profile in T2DM patients with CKD and proteinuria >1 g/d.
Multiscale characterization of an inflammatory macrophage state associated with an air pollutant–prioritized prognostic signature in gastric cancer
Abstract Background: Air pollutants are implicated in carcinogenesis, but their relevance to gastric cancer (GC) across prognosis, tumor organization and cell behavior remains unclear. We integrated evidence to evaluate pollutant-prioritized GC candidates. Methods: Seven pollutants were integrated with GeneCards/OMIM GC genes using toxicology and candidate-prioritization resources.
Design and demonstration of a compact Split-Lohmann multi-depth near-eye display
Multi-depth near-eye displays provide discrete focal cues to mitigate the vergence–accommodation conflict. Split-Lohmann modulation can generate discrete depth states through phase control, but existing display implementations have mainly been demonstrated in optical systems with relatively large volumes and have not fully addressed compact near-eye integration under volume and length constraints.

Ultrasonographic, Electrophysiological and Clinical Profiles of Motor and Motor Predominant Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy
1 Introduction According to the 2021 European Academy of Neurology/Peripheral Nerve Society (EAN/PNS) guidelines for chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP) [1], motor CIDP is defined as a CIDP subtype with clinically normal sensation and normal sensory nerve conduction studies (NCSs). Typical CIDP, motor-predominant CIDP, and pure motor CIDP represent a spectrum of disorders, characterized by progressively decreasing sensory fiber involvement.
Associations of CALLY, CLR, and CHR with all-cause mortality in patients receiving maintenance hemodialysis: a two-center retrospective cohort study
Abstract Background: Patients undergoing maintenance hemodialysis (MHD) remain at high risk of death. Composite inflammation-related indices may capture inflammatory burden, immune status, nutritional reserve, and lipid-related protective capacity.
Mitochondrial DNA release via VDAC1 in keratinocytes: a key driver of innate immunity and vitiligo pathogenesis
Abstract Vitiligo is an autoimmune depigmenting disorder in which oxidative stress is considered a critical trigger of innate immune activation. Although keratinocytes are increasingly recognized as key contributors to disease progression, the mechanism by which they sense and propagate oxidative stress signals has remained unclear. Here, we identify mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) release as a pivotal event linking oxidative stress to immune activation in keratinocytes.
Feature-based clustering of hemoglobin trajectories and subsequent risk of end-stage kidney disease in stages 3–4 CKD: a landmark analysis
Abstract Background: Anemia and protein-energy wasting (PEW) are common complications in chronic kidney disease (CKD) and are associated with disease progression. However, the prognostic significance of longitudinal hemoglobin (Hb) trajectory patterns, particularly in the context of nutritional status, remains unclear.
Frontiers | Integrative single-cell, spatial, and bulk transcriptomics reveal an FMR1–FTO axis linked to the immune-excluded phenotype in gastric cancer
Abstract Background: Immune exclusion is a major barrier to immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI) efficacy in gastric cancer, yet the spatial mechanisms by which m6A regulators drive this phenotype remain unclear. Methods: We integrated single-cell RNA-seq, spatial transcriptomics, and functional assays to map the gastric cancer microenvironment and derived an m6A regulator score to quantify the spatial coupling between m6A patterns and immune exclusion.

1 Introduction Vasculitis is characterized by inflammatory infiltrates and structural damage (e.g., fibrinoid necrosis, disruption, or fibrosis) of blood-vessel walls, leading to a decrease in the blood supply to the associated tissues. Multiple organs are involved in some forms of vasculitis, such as polyarteritis nodosa [1] and anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic autoantibody (ANCA)-associated vasculitis [2].
Mutations in UMOD Contribute to the Pathogenesis of ADTKD‐UMOD by Influencing the Function of Complement Factor H
1 Introduction Mutations in the UMOD gene are recognised as important pathogenic factors in autosomal dominant tubulointerstitial kidney disease (ADTKD) [1]. These mutations lead to delayed peptide maturation and prevent uromodulin (UMOD)'s transport from the endoplasmic reticulum to the Golgi apparatus, thereby hindering extracellular secretion [2]. Tubular atrophy and interstitial fibrosis are the basic pathological changes observed in the kidneys of patients with ADTKD-UMOD [3].

Pulse heating and slip enhance charging of phase-change thermal batteries - Nature
Abstract Phase-change thermal batteries for renewable energy storage and waste heat recovery demand high energy density and fast charging1,2,3,4,5, which are mutually exclusive because phase-change materials (PCMs) with high melting enthalpy are usually poor heat conductors6,7,8. The charging rate can be improved by making composite phase-change materials (CPCMs) with increased thermal conductivity9 and/or by exerting an external force to realize close-contact melting (CCM)10,11,12.

Aberrant BCAT1 expression augments MTOR activity and accelerates disease progression in chronic lymphocytic leukemia - Leukemia
Abstract We performed gene expression profiling of mRNA/cDNA isolated from N = 117 flow sorted CLL. We detected aberrant expression of the metabolic enzyme branched chain amino acid transferase (BCAT1) in CLL with del17p/TP53mut. Through extensive validation, we confirmed the highly preferential expression of BCAT1 in CLL with del17p/TP53mut (66%) or trisomy 12 (77%). BCAT1 was not expressed in B cells isolated from normal human lymph nodes.
