(Valley News Live) - Every parent’s nightmare unfolded for Shayla Zaste when she received a notification that her autistic and non-verbal son, Kyus, had gone missing from his daycare on November 17. “I’m just doing everything in my power to fight for my son, because he doesn’t have a voice,” Zaste said. The distressing incident occurred under the daycare’s supervision, leaving Zaste reeling for answers.

75 mile long high speed chase ends with one arrested

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (Valley News Live) - The Grand Forks County Sheriff’s Office says one is in custody after a pursuit which lasted approximately 57 minutes covering 75 miles early Saturday morning. At approximately 1:55 AM, Grand Forks County Sheriff’s Deputies were notified of an armed carjacking that had just occurred in the City of Grand Forks. GFSO Sergeant Aaron Davidson was parked near Thompson, ND.

UPDATE: North Dakota Highway Patrol identifies driver in fatal crash in Wells County

WELLS COUNTY, N.D. (Valley News Live) - The North Dakota Highway Patrol says they’re investigating a fatal crash in Wells County. At approximately 7:40 a.m. the North Dakota Highway Patrol was notified of a fatal crash on 28th Street NE, west of 42nd Ave NE. Reports say a Chevrolet Suburban was traveling eastbound on 28th St NE and lost control. The vehicle then entered the south ditch and rolled. The driver of the vehicle was ejected and pronounced deceased at the scene.
