PEN ARGYL, Pa. - It's a tradition older than most people in the community: Lookout Fire Company No. 1's annual Labor Day celebration is now in its 91st year. The festivities have been going on all weekend and Monday it all culminates with a parade at 1 p.m. and more rides, treats and live music at Weona Park in Pen Argyl after that. ALLENTOWN, Pa. - The great day has come! The Great Allentown Fair kicks off on Wednesday afternoon. Get ready to be "udder"-ly excited. "Just come here and be that kid again," Staci Horvath, who works in the fair's marketing and partnerships, said. Now in its 174th year, the fair holds true to its deep roots in agriculture. Jamie Brozman owns Just Enuff Angus, and showed 69 News the more than two dozen cows her family brought to the fair. Brozman also serves as Livestock Superintendent for the fair.
