Main text (Cell Metabolism 35, 84–100.e1–e8; January 3, 2023) In the original version of this article, an incorrect image was inadvertently used for Figure 3D (non-LAR DMSO). This error occurred during figure assembly, when the intended panel for the non-LAR DMSO group was mistakenly replaced with a pre-dosing image of the non-LAR RSL3 group. In addition, we have corrected annotation omissions and copy-paste errors in Data S1 pertaining to Figures 3 and S6.
HEBP2-governed glutamine competition between tumor and macrophages dictates immunotherapy efficacy in triple-negative breast cancer
Main text (Cell Metabolism 37, 2030–2047.e1–e7; October 7, 2025) The authors of this study have noticed an error in the CD86 staining panel in Figure S5F. A duplicated CD86 image was inadvertently incorporated into Figure S5F during figure preparation and data quantification. We have now corrected the image and the corresponding source data file after carefully re-examining all the raw images. This error does not alter the results or conclusions of this study.

Low-dimensional population dynamics in the brainstem gate REM sleep
Abstract Rapid-eye-movement (REM) sleep is generated in the brainstem, but the brainstem population dynamics that drive transitions to REM sleep remain largely unknown. Here, combining mouse Neuropixels recordings and dimensionality reduction, we found that population activity in the midbrain and pons is dominated by two components, one of which captures strong infraslow fluctuations in neural activity.
Heart rate and sleep history encode ultradian REM sleep timing
Keywords sleep REM sleep machine learning heart rate sleep homeostasis ultradian rhythms Introduction During sleep, the brain alternates between non-rapid eye movement (NREM) and rapid eye movement (REM) sleep, forming the ultradian NREM-REM cycle.1 Although it constitutes a defining feature of mammalian sleep, the mechanisms generating this ultradian rhythm and controlling when REM sleep occurs remain poorly understood.

pH-independent lead sequestration and light management enable sustainable and efficient perovskite photovoltaics
pH-independent lead sequestration and light management enable sustainable and efficient perovskite photovoltaics The illumination side of perovskite solar cells is more vulnerable to external impact (such as hail, flying rocks, snow, hurricanes, etc.) than the rear side, leading to more likelihood of Pb2+ leakage. They also suffer from severe optical loss at the air/solid interface, deteriorating the solar cell performance.

Single-cell RNA sequencing reveals the pro-inflammatory roles of liver-resident Th1-like cells in primary biliary cholangitis - Nature Communications
Abstract Primary biliary cholangitis (PBC) is a chronic autoimmune liver disease characterized by multilineage immune dysregulation, which subsequently causes inflammation, fibrosis, and even cirrhosis of liver. Due to the limitation of traditional assays, the local hepatic immunopathogenesis of PBC has not been fully characterized. Here, we utilize single-cell RNA sequencing technology to depict the immune cell landscape and decipher the molecular mechanisms of PBC patients.

Homeostatic regulation of rapid eye movement sleep by the preoptic area of the hypothalamus
eLife assessment This valuable study advances our understanding of the brain nuclei involved in rapid-eye movement (REM) sleep regulation. Using a combination of imaging, electrophysiology, and optogenetic tools, the study provides convincing evidence that inhibitory neurons in the preoptic area of the hypothalamus influence REM sleep. This work will be of interest to neurobiologists working on the brain circuits of sleep.

Degree-Aware Graph Neural Network Quantization
1. Introduction Different from regular data like images and videos, graph data are a special type of non-Euclidean irregular data, which cannot be directly processed by convolutional neural networks (CNNs). To remedy this, graph neural networks (GNNs) are developed to handle these irregularly structured data and are widely applied in applications like social networks [1], natural science [2,3], knowledge graphs [4], data mining [5] and recommendation systems [6,7].
Generating Datasets for Real-Time Scheduling on 5G New Radio

Networking means connecting a large number of production elements, such as workers, machines, materials, etc., to the information system, and adopting advanced network techniques to implement high-performance communications between these elements [2].
CRISPR/Cas Technology Revolutionizes Crop Breeding
1. Introduction In the future, agricultural production faces major challenges from a rapidly increasing human population and severe environmental stresses. Crop yield is a complex quantitative trait governed by many genes and environment factors, and some key genes and agronomic traits have gradually weakened or been lost during crop domestication [1].
Homeostatic regulation of REM sleep by the preoptic area of the hypothalamus
Abstract Rapid-eye-movement sleep (REMs) is characterized by activated electroencephalogram (EEG) and muscle atonia, accompanied by vivid dreams. REMs is homeostatically regulated, ensuring that any loss of REMs is compensated by a subsequent increase in its amount. However, the neural mechanisms underlying the homeostatic control of REMs are largely unknown.

Research trends and hot spots in global nanotechnology applications in liver cancer: a bibliometric and visual analysis (2000-2022)
Introduction One of the top causes of cancer-related fatalities globally is liver cancer (LC). About 90% of primary LC are hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) (1–3). Primary LC is associated with viral hepatitis (hepatitis B virus (HBV) and hepatitis C virus (HCV)), metabolic alterations (alcoholic steatohepatitis (ASH), non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH)) (4), chronic exposure to aflatoxin, algal toxin-contaminated water, diabetes, parasitic infections, and genetic factors (5).
Calcifications in triple-negative breast cancer: Molecular features and treatment strategies - npj Breast Cancer
Abstract Despite the high prevalence of mammographic calcifications, our understanding remains limited regarding the clinical and molecular features of calcifications within triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). To investigate the clinical relevance and biological basis of TNBC with calcifications of high suspicion for malignancy, we established a study cohort (N = 312) by integrating mammographic records with clinical data and genomic, transcriptomic, and metabolomic profiling.

Does New COVID Virus Strain Make Current Vaccine Useless?
The DS accurately predicted last month that there would be a new strain of COVID-19, the new variant which was today identified in the South East of England is believed to spread faster and has been dubbed ‘Super Covid’ for its virility. There has been a huge surge of infections in the South East. The RNA of the virus mutates all the time. The spike proteins will have changed, and this would mean that the vaccine may need to be adjusted in the future to counteract the mutation.

The endogenous retrovirus-derived long noncoding RNA TROJAN promotes triple-negative breast cancer progression via ZMYND8 degradation
Abstract Human endogenous retroviruses (HERVs) play pivotal roles in the development of breast cancer. However, the detailed mechanisms of noncoding HERVs remain elusive. Here, our genome-wide transcriptome analysis of HERVs revealed that a primate long noncoding RNA, which we dubbed TROJAN, was highly expressed in human triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). TROJAN promoted TNBC proliferation and invasion and indicated poor patient outcomes.
Adaptive endoplasmic reticulum stress signalling via IRE1α-XBP1 preserves self-renewal of haematopoietic and pre-leukaemic stem cells
Abstract Over their lifetime, long-term haematopoietic stem cells (HSC) are exposed to a variety of stress conditions that they must endure. Many stresses, such as infection/inflammation, reactive oxygen species, nutritional deprivation and hypoxia, activate unfolded protein response signalling, which induces either adaptive changes to resolve the stress or apoptosis to clear the damaged cell. Whether unfolded-protein-response signalling plays any role in HSC regulation remains to be established.
