Deep learning based individualized cross-platform molecular subtype classification of B-lineage acute lymphoblastic leukemia
Abstract Molecular subtypes of B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL) are essential in modern clinical treatment. However, the fast emerging subtypes and the requirement of complex multi-omic diagnostics are continuously challenging the clinical subtypes classification in sensitivity, cost, and turnaround time. We develop B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia Subtype Identification based on gene eXpression (BALL6), a robust deep learning framework for cross-platform B-ALL subtyping.
ARID1A loss drives gastric signet ring cell carcinoma by regulating mucin production and secretion
|
Abstract Signet ring cell carcinoma (SRCC) is a lethal malignancy with distinct histologic features, characterized by accumulated mucins in the cytoplasm which compress nuclei. Gastric SRCC is the most common SRCC whose incidence is increasing in recent years. The molecular mechanisms underlying the histopathology remain poorly understood.

Abstract Objective: To evaluate the screening value of the triglyceride-glucose index (TyG) combined with the systemic immune-inflammation index (SII) for diabetic kidney disease (DKD) in hospitalized patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on 335 hospitalized T2DM patients (175 with DKD, 160 without DKD) at Yancheng Third People’s Hospital from 2022 to 2024.
N6-methyladenosine–mediated up-regulation of ARRB2 regulates intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma malignant progression and pemigatinib resistance through MAPK and Hippo signaling pathways
Abstract Intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC) is a major contributor to cancer-related mortality on a global scale, yet it suffers from a lack of reliable early diagnostic biomarkers and effective therapeutic targets. Pemigatinib has been identified as a therapeutic option for advanced ICC; however, its long-term clinical efficacy is significantly hindered by the development of drug resistance.
Association between abdominal muscle mass measured by dual-source computed tomography and coronary artery calcification in patients with Type 2 diabetes mellitus
Abstract Objective: To describe the correlation between abdominal muscle mass and CAC in T2DM patients using DSCT, and to determine the preferred muscle imaging indicators in diagnosing and predicting positive CAC patients. Materials and methods: 108 T2DM patients were included (57.0 ± 10.9 years old). We acquired both CAC score and abdominal-chest DSCT data.
Strong optical anisotropy in one-dimensional phosphorus wavy tubes - Nature Communications
Abstract Anisotropic materials with intrinsic one-dimensional architectures, where chains or tubes align along a crystallographic axis, exhibit direction-dependent optical responses and serve as ideal building blocks for polarization-sensitive optoelectronics. While progress exists in engineered compounds, discovering elemental crystals with naturally ordered one-dimensional building blocks exhibiting giant optical anisotropy remains challenging.
Battery capacity degradation trajectory prediction for wearable medical devices with deep temporal decomposition - Scientific Reports
Abstract Accurate prediction of battery capacity degradation is critical for the continuous operation of wearable medical devices and patient safety. However, batteries in these devices often show complex, nonlinear degradation patterns caused by irregular charging cycles and intermittent high loads. To address this, we propose a novel framework that integrates deep temporal decomposition with autoregressive fine-tuning.

Corporate digital strategy and the firm’s employment: evidence from China
ABSTRACT Digital transformation reshapes labor markets, yet firm-level employment effects remain underexplored. Using data of Chinese A-share listed firms, we investigate how corporate digital strategy affects firms’ employment. Results show that firms’ strategic development of digital technology increases total employment and reshapes workforce composition: demand rises for high-capability employees but declines for low-capability labor.
Clinically associated genomic landscape of pediatric non-Down Syndrome acute megakaryoblastic leukemia in Chinese patients - Leukemia
Acute megakaryoblastic leukemia (AMKL) accounts for 4%–15% of newly diagnosed pediatric acute myeloid leukemia (AML) [1]. Pediatric AMKL contains two major subtypes: AMKL associated with Down Syndrome (DS-AMKL) and AMKL occurring independently of Down Syndrome (non-DS-AMKL). Unlike DS-AMKL, driven predominantly by trisomy 21 and GATA1 mutations, non-DS-AMKL has greater genomic heterogeneity and worse clinical outcomes [2, 3].
Optimizing fishway entrance attraction flow based on Schizothorax prenanti swimming behavior and entrance efficiency
Abstract Attracting fish to fishway entrances is vital to ensure fishway efficiency, which requires consideration of both fish behaviour and hydraulics. However, the relationship between fish swimming behaviour and hydraulics at fishway entrances remains poorly understood. This study combines a scale physics model experiment and numerical simulations using Flow-3D to analyse the swimming behaviour and speed of Ya-fish (Schizothorax prenanti) under different attraction flows (0.4 and 0.6 m/sec).
