Mother-to-child transmission (MTCT) remains the core mode of viral transmission in hepatitis B endemic areas.
Symmetry-breaking co-assembly of conjugated molecules boosts perovskite photovoltaics
Abstract In perovskite photovoltaics, self-assembled molecules (SAMs) have demonstrated the ability to enhance interface quality, reduce charge recombination, and improve energy-level alignment. However, most symmetrical molecules for photovoltaic applications tend to self-aggregate, which hinders uniform film formation, reduces the active surface area, and limits interface contact and device efficiency.

IFITM3 at the viral fusion-pore checkpoint: membrane energetics and entry-route-dependent outcomes
Abstract Interferon-induced transmembrane proteins (IFITMs) are small interferon-stimulated membrane proteins that can limit viral entry, but their effects depend on the virus, entry route, and experimental context. This Mini Review focuses on IFITM3 at the viral fusion-pore checkpoint, defined here as the transition at which hemifusion either proceeds to fusion-pore opening and viral-content release or stalls before productive entry.
Synthesis of yellow and green carbon quantum dots and study on the UV resistance of finished cotton fabrics
Abstract In order to effectively protect the skin from ultraviolet (UV) radiation damage, this study focuses on the field of UV protection. Using o-phenylenediamine isomers and 2,2-bis(hydroxymethyl)propionic acid as carbon sources, yellow and green fluorescent carbon quantum dots (CQDs-Y and CQDs-G) were synthesized via a one-step hydrothermal method. The CQDs water solution was directly coated on the surface of cotton fabric to impart UV protection properties.

Ubiquitination of DDX21 by HERC2 induces a dormancy-like phenotype via the NUCKS1-p21/p27 axis to promote radio-resistance in colorectal cancer cells
Abstract Cellular dormancy in colorectal cancer (CRC) significantly contributes to therapeutic resistance, tumor recurrence, and metastasis, resulting in poor prognosis. However, the underlying molecular mechanisms remain poorly understood. Here, we used spheroid culture combined with serum deprivation to enrich and identify dormancy-like CRC cells in vitro and characterized their dormancy-like phenotype by G0/G1 phase arrest, suppressed proliferation and radio-resistance.
Atomically dense Sb 2 O 3 interlayer for highly stable perovskite photovoltaic modules
|
Abstract Metal halide perovskite solar cells have achieved notable progress over the past 15 years. However, due to their ionic nature, they are vulnerable under an electric bias. This issue limits their application in solar modules under partial shade, which often occurs in real-world operation. Here we developed a van der Waals antimony oxide (Sb2O3) interlayer at the perovskite/electron transport layer interface using scalable thermal evaporation.

Chemical hardness engineering synchronizes crystallization in perovskite tandems
Abstract All-perovskite tandem solar cells are constrained by asynchronous crystallization in multicomponent perovskites, which produces vertical compositional gradients, structural inhomogeneity and excessive non-radiative recombination. These effects arise from mismatched coordination and crystallization kinetics among mixed halides and Pb2+/Sn2+ cations.
