Safety incidents during intrahospital transport of hemodialysis patients in China: a multicenter cross-sectional study
Abstract Objective: To characterize safety incidents during intrahospital transport of hemodialysis patients in Chinese tertiary hospitals to guide evidence-based safety standards. Methods: A multicenter cross-sectional study (STROBE-guided) included 4,253 registered nurses consisting of 418 head nurses and 3,835 clinical nurses.
Knowledge-augmented form-filling agent for higher education services
Online academic and administrative services in higher education increasingly require students, faculty, and staff to complete structured forms across heterogeneous institutional platforms. These tasks are complicated by variations in field naming, page layout, validation rules, and dynamic interaction logic, which limits the reliability of rule-based form-filling tools. To address these challenges, this study proposes KAFA, a knowledge-augmented form-filling agent for higher education services.
FTO-mediated m6A modification alleviates diabetic nephropathy progression by downregulating the CYP2J3/Smurf2 axis
Abstract The m6A demethylase FTO is implicated in epigenetic regulation, yet its specific mechanism in diabetic nephropathy (DN) remains unclear. This study investigates whether FTO mitigates DN progression by regulating the CYP2J3/Smurf2 axis. Mouse glomerular mesangial SV40-MES-13 cells were treated with high glucose (HG). Gene and protein expressions were assessed via qPCR and Western blot. MeRIP-qPCR and RIP assays evaluated m6A modifications and FTO-CYP2J3 mRNA binding.
Parallel cholinergic circuit in oculomotor nucleus to control eye movements and REM sleep
Abstract Sleep suppresses most motor output, yet rapid eye movement sleep (REMs) is marked by brief muscle twitches, including eye movements (EMs), indicating selective motor preservation. How these opposing features are coordinated remains unclear. Here we show that cholinergic neurons in the oculomotor nucleus (nIIIChAT) possess dual functional organization governing REMs termination and oculomotor execution in mice.

Research on the dissemination mechanism of online rumors in public health events based on the SNITR model
Abstract During public health events, nodes on social networks that are aware of the truth may still actively disseminate rumors, thereby influencing the rumor propagation process. However, existing research has not yet taken into account the impact of transmitter nodes on rumor dissemination. Therefore, our study proposes an SNITR rumor propagation model that incorporates a rumor-transmitter mechanism.
GIPC1 governed ferroptosis by regulating DECR1-modulating lipid homeostasis during dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) - Cell Death & Differentiation
|
Abstract Dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) was the most prevalent cardiomyopathy worldwide. Although ferroptosis has been implicated in cardiac pathogenesis, its regulatory mechanism in DCM remained poorly defined. In this study, we found that GIPC1 (GAIP/RGS19-interacting protein), a scaffolding protein, was significantly downregulated in cardiac tissues from DCM patients and doxorubicin (DOX)-induced DCM models.

The Evolving Enantioselective C─H Functionalization of Tertiary Allylic Systems
The direct functionalization of tertiary and other inert allylic C─H bonds represents one of the most attractive strategies in the construction of complicated molecules with quaternary carbon centers. Unlike approaches that rely on pre-functionalized allylic substrates, such as halides, acetates, and carbonates, allylic C─H activation provides an atom- and step-economical route to forge diverse and valuable C─C and C─X bonds.
Effects of Molecular Designs and Double‐Network Morphologies for Bioadhesive Semiconductors
1 Introduction Implantable electronics have garnered great attention in precision healthcare [1-4]. For spatially resolved and high-fidelity recording of biological signals and delivering localized interventions, it is essential to achieve seamless contact and maintain stable positions with biological tissues over extended periods [5, 6]. As such, tissue-adhesive properties are crucial in the design of bioelectronic devices.

IL‐17 and Th17 Cells in Chlamydiae Infection
1 Introduction Chlamydia is an intracellular pathogen, and it has the characteristic of a biphasic developmental cycle. Depending on the strain and serotype, Chlamydia can cause a wide range of human and animal infections [1]. Chlamydia can target the epithelium of the eye, respiratory tract and reproductive tract, causing diseases including trachoma, pneumonia, cervicitis, ectopic pregnancy and infertility, or can further invade local draining lymph nodes and cause systemic infections [2].

Design of a grazing incidence illumination system for anamorphic extreme ultraviolet lithography
High-numerical-aperture (NA) anamorphic extreme ultraviolet lithography (EUVL) is the next-generation technology under advanced technology nodes. The design of the illumination system requires achieving better illumination uniformity while ensuring energy efficiency. However, the traditional four-mirror structure illumination system ignores the impact of energy efficiency. In this paper, a grazing incidence illumination system design method is proposed.

1D/3D hierarchical carbon skeleton confined NiFe nanoparticles with optimized three-phase interfaces as tri-functional electrocatalyst Rational design of transition metal-based durable multifunctional electrocatalysts for energy conversion still remains major challenges. Herein, we report a novel 1D carbon nanotube-modified 3D hollow carbon sphere with hierarchical structure and strong interfacial interactions.
High efficiency regulation method to generate an illumination source by adopting the micromirror array in DUV lithography
Source and mask optimization (SMO) is an important lithography resolution enhancement technique for 22 nm technology nodes and beyond in lithography. This technique generates freeform sources by adjusting the inclination angle of the micromirror array (MMA). In this paper, a high efficiency regulation method to generate an illumination source by adopting the micromirror array in DUV lithography is proposed.

Cosolvent Occupied Solvation Tuned Anti-Oxidation Therapy Toward Highly Safe 4.7V-Class NCM811 Battery Fluorinated electrolytes are promising for stabilizing the interfacial chemistry in high-voltage LiNi0.8Co0.1Mn0.1O2 (NCM811) batteries. However, previous fluorinated electrolytes overlooked the essential role of the cathode-electrolyte interface (CEI) on de-solvation, relying heavily on weak solvation.

Establishing equivalent circuits of mounted, high-power VCSEL arrays for iToF cameras
Solid-state indirect time-of-flight (iToF) cameras are crucial to numerous short-to-medium-range applications, owing to their advantages in terms of system integrability and long-term reliability. However, due to the low light intensity, the sensing range of iToF cameras is generally limited to a few meters, which hinders their wide applications.

Breaking solvation dominance of ethylene carbonate via molecular charge engineering enables lower temperature battery - Nature Communications
Abstract Low temperatures severely impair the performance of lithium-ion batteries, which demand powerful electrolytes with wide liquidity ranges, facilitated ion diffusion, and lower desolvation energy. The keys lie in establishing mild interactions between Li+ and solvent molecules internally, which are hard to achieve in commercial ethylene-carbonate based electrolytes.
