An HEVC-based known-plaintext attack for video selective encryption
Abstract In this paper, we propose an HEVC-based known-plaintext attack (HKPA) to reveal and evaluate these weaknesses. Unlike typical KPAs, our approach assumes the attacker has access to only a single plaintext–ciphertext video pair, which makes cryptanalysis considerably more challenging. We first define the slice synchronization identifier and then design a decoder for the synchronized slice to generate the estimated key sequence (EKS).

ADAM19 participated in peritoneal fibrosis by regulating M2 macrophage polarization in peritoneal dialysis patients
Abstract Peritoneal fibrosis, driven by M2 macrophage polarization, limits the long-term application of peritoneal dialysis (PD). Although ADAM19 is known to mediate fibrosis in other organs, its specific role in PD-associated peritoneal fibrosis remains unclear. PD patients were enrolled in a single center and divided into three groups depending on the PD time. Demographic and clinical data were collected.
Injectable natural hydrogel-loaded Ta 4 C 3 quantum dots self-assembled with Phillyrin-mediated NIR-II anti-infection for acute sinusitis
Abstract Acute sinusitis, common across populations, worsens seasonally due to pollution and improper medication, increasing the risk of chronic disease and impairing quality of life. To improve treatment and limit antimicrobial resistance in acute sinusitis, we developed a natural injectable QACS/SA@Py@Ta4C3 hydrogel. It integrates the traditional Chinese medicine phillyrin with Ta4C3 quantum dots and natural polymers—quaternary chitosan and sodium alginate.
Association of wearable sensor-based gait analysis with phenoconversion trajectories in idiopathic REM sleep behavior disorder
Abstract Idiopathic rapid eye movement sleep behavior disorder (iRBD) is a well-established prodromal manifestation of α-synucleinopathies, with two principal phenoconversion trajectories: parkinsonism-first and dementia-first. Although subtle gait abnormalities have been observed prior to phenoconversion, their predictive value remains unclear. We investigated whether wearable sensor–based gait parameters are associated with phenoconversion and its clinical trajectories in iRBD.

Environmental R&D Risk Choice With Partial Cross‐Ownership in a Vertically Related Market
This paper examines the impact of partial cross-ownership on firms’ environmental R&D (ER&D) risk-taking decisions in a vertically related market. The results show that forward cross-ownership incentivizes downstream firms to engage in higher-risk ER&D activities, while backward cross-ownership tends to reduce such risk-taking behavior. Additionally, we find that higher levels of cross-ownership generally lead downstream firms to opt for riskier projects.

Behavioral parent training interventions to improve health outcomes of preschool children with ADHD symptoms from Chinese disadvantaged families: study protocol for a randomized controlled trial | Trials | Full Text
To our knowledge, only a handful of BPT studies have undertaken the assessment of treatment effects on an individual level, including both child- and parent-level outcomes [65]. The effect size varied depending on the outcome measurement, intervention strength and duration, the severity of children's ADHD symptoms, and so on. Previous research on BPT for ADHD has reported moderate to large effect sizes (Cohen’s d = 0.4 ~ 0.7) [50, 66]. We assume the margin of d = 0.6 effect sizes.

Overcoming the sorafenib resistance mechanism in FLT3-mutated acute myeloid leukemia: molecular basis and new targets
1 Introduction The FMS-like tyrosine kinase 3 (FLT3) gene mutation is among the most prevalent genetic alterations in Acute myeloid leukemia (AML), occurring in approximately 30% of cases. The most frequent types are FLT3 internal tandem duplication (FLT3-ITD, 20–25%) and FLT3 tyrosine kinase domain (FLT3-TKD, 5–10%) (1). FLT3-ITD mutations are associated with a higher relapse rate, overall survival (OS) rate, and disease-free survival (DFS) are short, and the clinical efficacy is poor (2).
