LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. (WAFF) - A man already awaiting trial for child sex crimes in Limestone County is facing new charges for the same types of crimes. Charles Stiles is now facing new sodomy and sexual abuse charges. Charles Stiles is currently being held without bond in the Limestone County Jail. Court records filed on Friday in Limestone County district court say Stiles sexually assaulted a girl more than 10 years ago when she was between the ages of four and nine.

MADISON COUNTY, Ala. (WAFF) - A man accused of shooting and killing another man in Triana two years ago pleaded guilty to manslaughter Friday morning. Martavious Williams was originally charged with capital murder for the death of Trayvon Harris. Investigators say Williams shot Harris from his truck on Murphy Lane during a drug deal. The charge was reduced to murder in the indictment and was further reduced to manslaughter as part of a plea agreement. Williams was sentenced to five years behind bars.
