Alleviation of CO 2 -Induced Reductions in Tomato Photosynthesis Under Deficit Irrigation by Purple Nonsulfur Photosynthetic Bacteria
1 Introduction Water deficit is one of the most severe abiotic stresses, causing the most significant crop yield losses globally in changing environments (Nikolaou et al. 2020; Eekhout et al. 2024). Global water scarcity may further affect agricultural development, given the projected intensification of the greenhouse effect due to rising CO2 concentrations.
Integrating brain organoids, meningeal immunity, and glymphatic dynamics: toward modeling neuroimmune clearance and crosstalk in disease
Abstract The central nervous system has long been considered an immune-privileged organ, but discoveries about meningeal lymphatics, meningeal immune cells, cerebrospinal fluid (CSF)-interstitial fluid (ISF) exchange, and aquaporin-4 (AQP4)-associated glymphatic-like transport are reshaping our understanding of waste clearance and immune surveillance in the brain. However, there are obvious breaks in the current model system.
Gut microbiota-derived indoleacrylic acid ameliorates rheumatoid arthritis by preventing necroptosis of fibroblast-like synoviocytes and regulating macrophage polarization
Abstract Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is associated with gut metabolite dysfunction, but the contribution of tryptophan-derived metabolites to RA remains fully uncharacterized. Here, we investigated the role of the gut microbiota-derived tryptophan metabolite indoleacrylic acid (IA) in experimental arthritis. Targeted metabolomics showed that fecal IA was markedly depleted in interleukin-1 receptor antagonist (IL1RA)-deficient and collagen-induced arthritis (CIA) mice.
Multiphase Topology of Impact Polypropylene Copolymers and Its Effects on Electrical and Mechanical Performance for Recyclable HVDC Cable Insulation
You are already at the latest version Impact polypropylene copolymers (ICPs) are promising thermoplastics for recyclable high-voltage direct-current (HVDC) cable insulation, yet the links among molecular sequence, crystalline framework, multiphase topology, and charge transport remain unclear.
Strata behavior and advanced control technologies in longwall top coal caving of extra-thick coal seams under hard roofs
Abstract The extraction of extra-thick coal seams under hard, massive roofs using Longwall Top Coal Caving (LTCC) can induce dynamic hazards, including large-area roof suspension, intense advanced abutment pressures, and extreme roadway deformation. Taking the 8401 working face of the Tongfa Dongzhouyao Coal Mine as the engineering background, this study systematically investigates the dynamic evolution of overlying strata and proposes a comprehensive stability control strategy.
From sepsis to necrotizing enterocolitis with appendiceal perforation: a case report of successful salvage therapy with aztreonam–avibactam in an extremely preterm infant with NDM-producing Klebsiella pneumoniae
Abstract Infections caused by New Delhi metallo-β-lactamase (NDM)-producing Klebsiella pneumoniae represent a major therapeutic challenge in neonatology, particularly in extremely preterm infants, for whom effective options are limited and dosing and safety data for last-resort agents such as aztreonam-avibactam remain scarce.

Improved YOLOv8 method for photovoltaic panel surface state detection integrating spatial-to-depth convolution and Wise-IoU
Abstract Photovoltaic panel surface coverage by dust and snow can reduce energy yield, thereby weakening the effective utilization of solar power and the environmental benefits of photovoltaic (PV) systems. Accurate and efficient visual inspection is therefore important for sustainable PV operation and maintenance.

Determination Criteria for Suppressing Water-Immersed Coal Oxidation: Critical Threshold of Oxygen Concentration
To unravel the veil on the phenomenon that water-immersed coal is prone to spontaneous combustion, the paper digitally re-constructed pore structure and quantitatively assessed the effects of water immersion on it. It was discovered that the pore cross-sectional area of water-immersed coal is 1.59 ~ 5.12 times larger than that of raw coal, which provided more opportunities for the coal-oxygen oxidation reaction.

Influential Observations Detection by Random Projection in High-Dimensional Multivariate Response Linear Model
In this article, we consider the challenging problem of influential point detection in high-dimensional linear regressions with multivariate responses. A Multivariate Response Influential Point (MRIP) detection algorithm is proposed based on a novel random projection method, which takes into account the dependence among the responses. When the number of projected directions tends to infinity, the limit statistic is derived, which simplifies the computations greatly.
Correction to Reshaping Tumor Blood Vessels to Enhance Drug Penetration with a Multistrategy Synergistic Nanosystem
In the original Figure 2(B), the transwell migration image for the ICG + US group was erroneously pasted during figure preparation. The corrected version has been shown in Figure 2 below. This correction does not affect the scientific conclusions drawn from the original data.
Aromatic Rice May Be a New Driving Force for Green and Efficient Food Production in Rice‐Crayfish System
1 Introduction Rice-crayfish coculture system (RCS) is the most important field pattern for rice stereoscopic-planting. The RCS can stabilize grain production and increase economic benefit, and it has been expanding rapidly in China, due to the encouragement and support by the Chinese government (Si et al. 2017; Hou, Wang, et al. 2021).

Distributed acoustic sensing in harsh environments based on femtosecond laser-inscribed ultra-short fiber Bragg grating arrays
We propose and demonstrate a high-performance DAS system using ultra-short fiber Bragg grating arrays (USFBG) and a phase-sensitive optical time domain reflectometry (φ-OTDR). A USFBG with an ultra-short length of 30 μm was successfully fabricated in a single-mode fiber (SMF) by femtosecond laser point-by-point inscription, exhibiting a large full width at half maximum (FWHM) bandwidth of 24.6 nm. To the best of our knowledge, this is the largest grating bandwidth reported to date.
