Oral succinate protects the heart in a temperature dependent manner in mice via gut microbiota
Abstract Ambient temperature profoundly influences cardiac metabolism and function, but whether it modulates the cardiac effects of an oral metabolite remains largely unexplored. Here, we investigated whether ambient temperature modulates the cardiac effects of oral succinate administration in a mouse model of abdominal aortic coarctation (AAC)-induced cardiac remodeling.
H 2 S-induced surface reconstruction enables efficient CsPbI 3 QLEDs with ultralow roll-off
Abstract Metal halide perovskite quantum dots (QDs) are promising materials for developing low-cost and high-performance quantum dot-based light-emitting diodes (QLEDs). Despite external quantum efficiency (EQE) comparable to II–VI/III–V QLEDs, perovskite QD counterparts achieve peak EQE at low luminance/current density and exhibit significantly more pronounced efficiency roll-off, owing primarily to their ionic character and soft lattice.
Smoke-Free Home Intervention in Permanent Supportive Housing : A Cluster Randomized Clinical Trial

A UHPLC-MS/MS method for the simultaneous quantification of BTK inhibitors and their active metabolite in human plasma and cerebrospinal fluid
ABSTRACT Background Bruton’s tyrosine kinase inhibitors (BTKis, ibrutinib, zanubrutinib, orelabrutinib) are key targeted therapies for B-cell lymphomas, but interindividual variability and adverse reactions limit their use. Metabolized by CYP3A, co-medications or hepatic dysfunction cause plasma fluctuations, necessitating therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM). Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) distribution is also critical for CNS lymphoma treatment.
Increased activity of DRD1-MSNs in dorsolateral striatum underlies Cry1Δ11 mutation-induced repetitive behaviors
Abstract Repetitive behaviors are classically associated with autism spectrum disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder, but also occur prominently in attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), yet the underlying mechanisms remain poorly understood. Our recent work identified ADHD-like behaviors in Cry1Δ11 mice, in which a mutation in a core circadian gene Cry1 produces a CRY1Δ11 protein that fails to inhibit the Gαs subunit, leading to hyperactive signaling of dopamine D1 receptor (DRD1).
Epigenetic priming with azacitidine-BEAM versus decitabine-BEAM conditioning for autologous transplantation in non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma
To the editor: Autologous stem cell transplantation (ASCT) remains a cornerstone strategy for patients with high-risk or relapsed/refractory lymphoma. Although carmustine, etoposide, cytarabine, and melphalan (BEAM) is widely recognized as the standard conditioning regimen, post-transplantation relapse remains the primary cause of treatment failure. Recent evidence [1, 2] suggested that simply substituting traditional cytotoxic drugs has reached a therapeutic bottleneck.
Effects of physical activity on depressive symptoms in middle-aged and younger-old adults: a systematic review and meta-analysis
Abstract Background: Depression is a common mental health issue in middle-aged and younger-old adults. It can substantially impair their well-being and daily functioning. Physical activity is often recommended to help with depression, but its effectiveness for middle-aged and younger-old adults is not clear. The most effective exercise prescription also remains to be determined. This systematic review aims to answer two questions: Does physical activity reduce depressive symptoms in this group?

The Logic Structure Behind Mathematical Models:An Axiomatic Framework for System Dynamics
You are already at the latest version Modeling complex systems typically involves multiscale analysis, multiphysics coupling, and cross-domain integration. However, existing methodologies predominantly focus on constructing and solving specific equations, lacking a unified, explicit expression for underlying logical structures, which limits model comparison and combination.
