Weakened electron phonon coupling and delocalization effect in Pr and Ru co-doped Mott insulator Sr 2 IrO 4-δ
Abstract The antiferromagnetic Mott insulator Sr2IrO4 exhibits an anomalous metal-to-insulator transition (MIT) rooted in the strong coupling among spin, charge, and lattice degrees of freedom. Doping can effectively modulate the Mott gap and influence the MIT. Here, we systematically investigate the electrical transport properties, magnetic orders and phonon vibration modes of Ru and Pr codoped Sr2IrO4-δ.

PAPOLA-mediated hyperactive polyadenylation promotes leukemogenesis and leukemia stem cell self-renewal through metabolic reprogramming
Abstract Polyadenylation is essential for mRNA stability and translational efficiency. Although poly(A) tail length is dynamically regulated under physiological conditions, its dysregulation and functional importance in cancer remain poorly understood. Here, we identify widespread poly(A) tail elongation and aberrant upregulation of poly(A) polymerase alpha (PAPOLA) in acute myeloid leukemia (AML), with high PAPOLA expression associated with poor clinical outcomes.
Compromising quantum clock synchronization by a slow and persistent asymmetric channel delay strategy
Quantum clock synchronization achieves picosecond-level precision by compensating for channel delays based on reciprocity, which is intrinsically vulnerable to asymmetric delay attacks. In this Letter, we propose a slow and persistent asymmetric channel delay strategy that superimposes delays onto the channel, thereby producing a subtle, time-varying clock-offset error that can remain concealed within intrinsic timing fluctuations.
Family risk factors, dyadic coping, and family resilience in young stroke dyads: an actor-partner interdependence mediation model
Abstract Objective: Stroke in young individuals constitutes a significant familial stressor, with ensuing family risk factors critically influencing recovery. While couples’ collaborative coping strategies play a vital role in enhancing family resilience, the mechanisms underlying this process remain largely unexplored. This study aims to elucidate the impact of familial risk factors and dyadic coping on the family resilience of young stroke.
Multimodal deep learning model for AI-based functional prognostic risk stratification in patients undergoing radical nephrectomy

Abstract Making the decision between technically challenging partial nephrectomy (PN) and radical nephrectomy (RN) in patients with complex renal cell carcinoma (RCC) remains a significant challenge for urologists. Rapid glomerular filtration rate (GFR) decline (annual decline >3 mL/min/1.73 m²) after RN is considered an abnormal renal function state, and if this risk can be predicted preoperatively, PN may be pursued even when technically demanding.

Urban bird commensals maintain coexistence under extreme food shortages
1 INTRODUCTION Urban environments present challenges for native species due to human disturbance, high predator density and lack of natural resources (Chace & Walsh, 2006; Grimm et al., 2008; Marzluff, 2001). As such, species that can exploit anthropogenic food sources and spaces are more likely to thrive in urban spaces (Blair, 1996; Kövér et al., 2019; McKinney, 2006).
Metabolic rewiring during bone development underlies tRNA m7G–associated primordial dwarfism
Abstract Translation of mRNA to protein is tightly regulated by transfer RNAs (tRNAs), which are subject to various chemical modifications that maintain structure, stability, and function. Deficiency of tRNA N7-methylguanosine (m7G) modification in patients causes a type of primordial dwarfism, but the underlying mechanism remains unknown. Here we report that the loss of m7G rewires cellular metabolism, leading to the pathogenesis of primordial dwarfism.

CD276-dependent efferocytosis by tumor-associated macrophages promotes immune evasion in bladder cancer - Nature Communications
Abstract Interplay between innate and adaptive immune cells is important for the antitumor immune response. However, the tumor microenvironment may turn immune suppressive, and tumor associated macrophages are playing a role in this transition. Here, we show that CD276, expressed on tumor-associated macrophages (TAM), play a role in diminishing the immune response against tumors.
