Targeting the LY6H-PI3K/AKT autophagy axis suppresses HCC malignancy and reveals a druggable vulnerability
Abstract Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is a highly lethal malignancy worldwide, whose initiation and progression are closely associated with dysregulated autophagy. Lymphocyte antigen 6 family member H (LY6H), a glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored protein, is aberrantly expressed in multiple cancers; however, its functions and mechanisms in HCC remain undefined.
Earlier postoperative ctDNA detection predicts recurrence and adjuvant therapy benefit in stage II-III colorectal cancer
Abstract Detection of postoperative minimal residual disease (MRD) using circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) accurately predicts cancer recurrence and may even guide adjuvant chemotherapy. Cost-effective and easily implementable assays capable of detecting MRD early (within days after surgery) will drive wider clinical adaptation. We developed a rapid, single-tube multiplex quantitative methylation-specific PCR (mqMSP) assay targeting 10 rigorously screened methylation markers.

Electron Localization Engineering of Ordered Macro-Microporous 2D Conjugated Metal–Organic Frameworks for Efficient Bifunctional Oxygen Electrocatalysis
1 Introduction Reversible oxygen interconversion processes involving both oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) and oxygen evolution reaction (OER) play a crucial role in numerous electrochemical energy conversion and storage systems, including fuel cells, metal-air batteries, and water electrolyzers [1-4]. However, their processes are inherently hindered by sluggish kinetics due to their multistep electron transfer mechanism, which requires a high overpotential to overcome associated energy barriers.
DC-CD4 bispecific tolerogenic nanovesicles induce antigen-specific regulatory T cells and ameliorate collagen-induced arthritis in mice
Abstract Inducing antigen-specific regulatory T (Treg) cells is a promising strategy for treating autoimmune diseases (AID). Here, we present dendritic cells-CD4⁺ T cells (DC-CD4) bispecific tolerogenic nanovesicles (NV) co-loaded with an antigenic peptide and rapamycin. We show that these NVs bring DCs and CD4⁺ T cells into close spatial proximity through CTLA4-CD80/86 and anti-CD4 (aCD4)-CD4 interactions, thereby promoting antigen-specific Treg cell generation.

Molecular signatures of resilience to Alzheimer’s disease in neocortical layer 4 neurons - Nature Communications
Abstract Selective neuronal vulnerability is a hallmark of Alzheimer’s disease (AD), yet the molecular basis of resilience remains poorly understood. Using single-nucleus and spatial transcriptomics to compare neocortical regions affected early (prefrontal cortex, precuneus) or late (primary visual cortex) in AD, we identified a resilient excitatory population in layer 4 of the primary visual cortex expressing RORB, CUX2, and EYA4.
Optimization of an Airfoil-Fin Printed Circuit Heat Exchanger with Curved Vortex Generator
Abstract In this study, a comparative study of curved vortex generator (CVG) length, CVG height, and CVG thickness on heat transfer and flow characteristics was conducted. The results indicated that increasing CVG length from 0.5 to 2.0 mm enhanced the thermal-hydraulic performance factor (jf) by 4.1% to 7.4%. When CVG height exceeded 0.3 mm, the heat transfer performance was enhanced, with the j-factor increasing by 9.6% to 28.7%.

Topological Valley Transport in Bilayer Graphene Induced by Interlayer Sliding
Interlayer sliding, together with twist angle, is a crucial parameter that defines the atomic registry and thus determines the properties of two-dimensional (2D) material homobilayers. Here, we theoretically demonstrate that controlled interlayer sliding in bilayer graphene induces Berry curvature reversals, leading to topological states confined within a one-dimensional moiré channel. We experimentally realize interlayer sliding by bending the bilayer graphene geometry across a nanoridge.
