Why The Model Context Protocol Is Key To AI-Enterprise Integration
Michael Manos is Chief Technology Officer, Dun & Bradstreet. While the current AI boom was sparked by the launch of OpenAI's ChatGPT in late 2022, it wasn't until late 2024 that its true power could be recognized, when Anthropic unveiled the Model Context Protocol (MCP).

Specific oncogene activation of the cell of origin in mucosal melanoma - Nature Communications
Abstract Mucosal melanoma (MM) is a deadly cancer derived from mucosal melanocytes. To test the consequences of MM genetics, we develop a zebrafish model in which all melanocytes experience CCND1 expression and loss of PTEN and TP53. Surprisingly, melanoma only develops from melanocytes lining internal organs, analogous to the location of patient MM. We find that zebrafish MMs have a unique chromatin landscape from cutaneous melanomas.

Immune checkpoint inhibitor-associated risk for venous thromboembolism: a comprehensive analysis
Discussion The results of this analysis of over 10,000 VTE-naïve patients treated with ICI found an increased risk for VTE, with a cumulative incidence of 7.6% at 6 months, higher than previously published incidences.
Council Post: How To Build Future-Forward Generative AI Applications
Michael Manos is Chief Technology Officer, Dun & Bradstreet. The high-profile debut of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) tools in 2022 prompted many companies to think about what this potentially transformative technology meant for their business. While the answer hasn’t always been clear, many leaders have felt pressure from the executive suite to take advantage of GenAI sooner rather than later.

Molecular Pathways of Colon Inflammation Induced by Cancer Immunotherapy
Highlights • Mechanisms of inflammatory adverse events induced by checkpoint blockade • Colitis-associated differentiation of CD8 Trm cells to cytotoxic effector cells • Persistence and expansion of CTLA-4+ Treg cells • Inflammatory pathways provide opportunities for therapeutic intervention Summary Checkpoint blockade with antibodies specific for the PD-1 and CTLA-4 inhibitory receptors can induce durable responses in a wide range of human cancers.
Could a New Device Be the Right ADHD Treatment for Your Child?
Long division: It’s not so fascinating for most kids, but it’s especially hard for kids with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. It’s hard for them to tear their attention away from something more captivating — like the squirrels playing outside the window — and focus on math. Cleveland Clinic is a non-profit academic medical center. Advertising on our site helps support our mission. We do not endorse non-Cleveland Clinic products or services.
What Causes ADHD? Is it Genetic, or Is Technology a Factor?
Q: Do we know what causes ADHD in children? Cleveland Clinic is a non-profit academic medical center. Advertising on our site helps support our mission. We do not endorse non-Cleveland Clinic products or services. Policy A: Professional thinking at present is that ADHD is a brain-based, genetic condition. Back in the early 2000s, there were two genes associated with neurotransmitter transmission that were associated with ADHD. Now many more have been associated with the condition.
Youngest Kids in Class Most Likely to Have ADHD
Is your 5-year-old ready for kindergarten? Or should you wait one more year before enrolling him in school? These questions can torment preschool parents — especially parents of kids with late-summer birthdays. Cleveland Clinic is a non-profit academic medical center. Advertising on our site helps support our mission. We do not endorse non-Cleveland Clinic products or services. Policy Now there may be more cause for concern.
Can Too Much Tech Cause ADHD Symptoms in Your Child?
Today, technology is changing our world; you could argue it’s even changing our children. Kids often revel in digital media, including gaming and social media. The technology is seductive, and full of color and interactivity — and while this may offer some benefits, it also raises questions. “The frequent use of technology affects how we behave and connect with one another,” says Michael Manos, Ph.D., Head of the ADHD Center for Evaluation & Treatment at Cleveland Clinic.
ADHD: Overdiagnosed and Overtreated, or Misdiagnosed and Mistreated?
Pharmacotherapy and behavioral therapy are currently used with success in treating attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in children, adolescents, and adults. Ongoing changes in healthcare require physicians to improve the quality of care, reduce costs of treatment, and manage their patients’ health, not just their illnesses. Behavioral and pharmacologic studies provide us with an opportunity to maximize treatment of ADHD and adapt it to the needs of individuals.
Construction Rental Companies Comparison
America's infrastructure is in need of serious improvements. This past election cycle we saw both political parties agree on this with Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders sharing the same basic idea that America's infrastructure needs some help. President Obama also agrees and on December 4th, 2015 he signed the Fixing America's Surface Transportation Act commonly referred to as the FAST act.
Essex Rental Will Give Your Portfolio A Lift
Shares of Essex Rental (NASDAQ:ESSX) have been beaten down over the past year as one of the subsidiaries was in default and ultimately was wound down by its creditors. ESSX used to operate as a holding company with two subsidiaries: Essex Crane Rental and Coast Crane. Essex Crane Rental has since been divested and is no longer. Going forward the company only owns one subsidiary, Coast Crane. Coast Crane is a solid stand-alone company and the shares are worth a look trading at only $0.16.
Northern Oil & Gas - Little Value For Common Equity Holders
Even at a glance, it is not hard to tell that things are about to get ugly at Northern Oil & Gas (NYSEMKT:NOG). The company reported a pretax PV10 value of $575,694,000 as of Dec. 31, 2015, with $50.28 per barrel of oil used for the calculation and then adjusted for transportation costs to $42.03. So despite the recent rally in oil, the company still looks poor. The company has less than $5 million in cash as of March 31, 2016.
