Targeting mitochondrial EGFR by CTAB in triple-negative breast cancer
Abstract EGFR is an oncogenic factor highly expressed in multiple tumor types. While previous research has primarily focused on plasma membrane-localized EGFR, the role of its mitochondrial localization (mitoEGFR) in breast cancer remains poorly understood. This study reveals that EGFR is enriched in mitochondria in triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC), with high mitoEGFR expression closely associated with aggressive phenotypes.

Deepfake Detection Beyond Benchmark Accuracy: Generalization, Robustness, and Reproducibility
Submitted: 14 September 2026 Posted: 16 September 2026 You are already at the latest version Deepfake detection has become a central problem in computer vision and multimedia security as generative systems make synthetic images, video, and audio increasingly accessible. This systematic literature review presents a large-scale, per-paper full-text analysis of 1,410 papers published from January 2018 through the January 2026 cutoff.
Impact of body mass index on perioperative outcomes and short-term recovery profiles of single-incision laparoscopic appendectomy: a propensity score-matched analysis
Abstract Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the association between stratified body mass index (BMI) and the intraoperative outcomes and short-term postoperative recovery profiles of patients undergoing single-incision laparoscopic appendectomy (SILA), utilizing a propensity score-matched (PSM) analysis to minimize baseline selection bias and confounding clinical factors.
LGR5-positive fibroblasts orchestrate skin mechanoadaptation through JAK1 modulation
Abstract Mechanical adaptation is a fundamental yet poorly understood process in stromal tissue biology. Here, we identify a population of LGR5+ mechanically induced regulatory fibroblasts (LGR5+ MIRFs) in mouse and human dermis, whose induction requires a YAP/AP-1-dependent transcriptional program. LGR5+ MIRFs channel mechanical input toward adaptive tissue remodeling by coordinating extracellular matrix reorganization while restraining inflammation.
An eccentric massive protobinary assembled via a core-merger parabolic encounter
Abstract Most massive stars form in binary systems, which profoundly influence their subsequent evolution. However, how such systems form remains poorly understood, with several competing scenarios proposed, including disk fragmentation, core fragmentation and capture.

ZCCHC10 as a novel prognostic biomarker associated with immune infiltration in breast cancer
Abstract CCHC zinc finger protein 10 (ZCCHC10) has been implicated in the progression of multiple malignancies, but its prognostic value and role in immune infiltration in breast cancer remain unclear. In this study, we systematically analyzed ZCCHC10 expression using public databases and validated the findings by immunohistochemistry. Associations with clinicopathological features and patient prognosis were assessed, and a prognostic nomogram was constructed.

Turritopsis nutricula -Inspired Engineered Biomimetic Skin Promoting Aged Wound Repair via DAZAP1 Phase Separation-Related Mitochondrial Metabolism Reprogramming
1 Introduction Chronic wounds, including diabetic foot ulcers, venous leg ulcers, and pressure injuries, represent a devastating and escalating global health crisis [1-3]. Affecting millions worldwide, their prevalence is exacerbated by the global aging pandemic and rising rates of diabetes and obesity, imposing staggering morbidity, mortality, and socioeconomic costs estimated in the hundreds of billions annually [4-6].
DTX3 promotes anti-tumor immunity by inducing PD-L1 ubiquitination and is suppressed by p65/miR-222 in bladder cancer
Abstract The limited efficacy of programmed death ligand-1 (PD-L1)/programmed death 1 (PD-1) immunotherapy remains a major challenge in bladder cancer (BC). Here, we identified Deltex E3 ubiquitin ligase 3 (DTX3) as a negative regulator of PD-L1 expression through whole-exome sequencing (WES) and functional screening. DTX3 overexpression inhibited CD3⁺CD8⁺ T cell apoptosis via the PD-1/PD-L1 axis, increased IFN-γ secretion, and enhanced the anti-tumor effect of anti-PD-1 monoclonal antibody (mAb).
Iron/Manganese Oxide-Bound Nitrogen Suppresses Microbial Mediated Nitrate Reduction in Soil
1 Introduction The soil nitrogen cycle is a central driving force of productivity in farmland ecosystems, and its cycling efficiency directly affects both crop nitrogen use efficiency and environmental sustainability (Hartmann and Six 2023; Li et al. 2025). This process is predominantly mediated by microorganisms and is strongly regulated by the composition and concentration of different nitrogen forms in the soil (Kuypers et al. 2018; Tang et al. 2026).

ClareV: a contrastive learning framework for context-aware TRBV representations in TCR repertoires
Abstract Background: V gene segments of the T cell receptor (TCR) β chain (TRBV) are crucial for antigen recognition, yet previous studies have treated them as fixed categories and neglected repertoire-specific immune dynamics that inform functional diversity. Methods: We introduce ClareV, a contrastive learning framework that partitions T cell receptor repertoires into V gene-specific groups to extract data-driven embeddings capturing these dynamics.
Assessment of pelvic floor muscle training video information quality and associated factors on Douyin and Bilibili: a cross-sectional study
Abstract This study evaluated the information quality of pelvic floor muscle training (PFMT) videos on Douyin (the Chinese version of TikTok) and Bilibili and examined factors associated with higher-quality content. A cross-sectional analysis was conducted on 200 PFMT videos (100 per platform). Dissemination and engagement metrics were collected.

The dominance of turbulence over magnetism in the formation of massive star cluster seeds
|
Abstract High-mass stars form in protoclusters, where gravo-magnetic processes elongate collapsing clouds and clumps preferentially perpendicular to magnetic (B) fields. Yet it remains unclear whether gravo-magnetic processes still govern the formation of 0.01-pc-scale condensations in massive star-forming protoclusters, which are crucial for understanding the stellar initial mass function and multiplicity.

Case Report: Strangulated transverse colon inguinal hernia complicated by cecal perforation in a patient with sclerosing mesenteritis
Abstract Background: Transverse colon herniation into the inguinal canal is exceptionally rare. The transverse colon, being entirely intraperitoneal and suspended by the transverse mesocolon, is anatomically resistant to inferior displacement. Few cases of transverse colon herniation into inguinal or femoral hernias are documented, most occurring in the presence of giant hernia defects, malignancy, or concurrent omental herniation.

PSMD11 stabilizes PGM3 by antagonizing Parkin to promote bladder cancer progression through energy metabolism reprogramming
Abstract Bladder cancer (BCa), a highly prevalent and aggressive tumor of the urinary system, typically exhibits poor clinical outcomes, particularly in advanced stages where therapeutic efficacy remains inadequate. A key characteristic of tumorigenesis, metabolic reprogramming, contributes substantially to cancer cell proliferation and metastatic progression.
