Leptomeningeal fibroblasts promote glioblastoma progression by regulating cerebrospinal fluid dynamics
Abstract Cerebrospinal fluid contributes to homeostasis in the central nervous system, but how its dynamics are altered in glioblastoma is unclear. We find that glioblastoma drives leptomeningeal perivascular fibrosis that is associated with impaired fluid transport and clearance. Lineage tracing and single-cell analyses in male tumor-bearing mice identify leptomeningeal fibroblasts as the principal source of this fibrotic response, with limited contribution from pericytes.

Homoploid Hybridization Resolves the Origin of Octoploid Strawberries
Abstract The identity of the diploid progenitors of octoploid cultivated strawberry (Fragaria × ananassa) has been subject to much debate. Past work identified four subgenomes and consistent evidence for F. californica (previously named F. vesca subsp. bracteata) and F. iinumae as donors for subgenomes A and B, respectively, with conflicting results for the origins of subgenomes C and D. Here, reticulate phylogeny and admixture analysis support hybridization between F. viridis and F.

All-ferroelectric implementation of reservoir computing - Nature Communications
Abstract Reservoir computing (RC) offers efficient temporal information processing with low training cost. All-ferroelectric implementation of RC is appealing because it can fully exploit the merits of ferroelectric memristors (e.g., good controllability); however, this has been undemonstrated due to the challenge of developing ferroelectric memristors with distinctly different switching characteristics specific to the reservoir and readout network.
