Multidimensional continuous glucose monitoring metrics enable digital risk stratification across the diabetes spectrum
Abstract Although continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) provides high-dimensional data, the usefulness of multimodal and diurnal glycemic profiles for disease characterization and risk stratification remains unknown. Here, in the iCanNet cohort of 90,757 participants, we examined the associations of 48 CGM-derived metrics with prediabetes, T2D, and T1D, compared to normoglycemia.
Identification of AHR , UACA , GCLM , and GSTZ1 as candidate genes associated with metabolic alterations in intervertebral disc degeneration
Abstract Intervertebral disc degeneration (IVDD) is the leading pathological cause of chronic low back pain, but reliable molecular indicators for grading degeneration severity remain scarce. The interplay between metabolic reprogramming (MR) and the immune microenvironment in IVDD pathogenesis remains poorly characterized. Here, we integrated bioinformatic analyses and experimental validation to investigate MR-related molecular alterations and immune microenvironment changes in IVDD.

This study aimed to compare the positive screening rate and screening efficiency of the electronic scoliometer (E-scoliometer) with those of the manual scoliometer (M-scoliometer), and to identify modifiable risk factors for suspected scoliosis in this younger age group.
Carbon neutrality strategies modulate air quality effects on solar power generation
Abstract Solar photovoltaic power is essential for achieving carbon neutrality, yet its output is highly sensitive to changes in air quality under future emission pathways. We integrate energy–economy, coupled meteorology–chemistry, and photovoltaic performance models to quantify how alternative carbon-neutrality pathways influence solar power generation via air quality changes in China.
Monodisperse Condensed Tannin and Derived Carbon Nanospheres Featuring Well-Defined Surface-Structured Metal Species
1 Introduction Polymeric colloidal nanospheres are sought for applications in photonics, biomedicine, energy, and electrocatalysis, with their performance strongly depending on size, dispersity, and surface functionality [1, 2]. These nanospheres are commonly synthesized from poly(styrene), poly(methyl methacrylate), and phenolic resins [3-5] because these precursors are chemically well-defined and pure, thus enabling precise control over reaction kinectis and consequently particle growth.

m 6 A modification by METTL3 enhances BIRC6 translation to promote liver tumorigenesis
Abstract N6-methyladenosine (m6A) is the most prevalent internal modification of mRNA and is frequently dysregulated in cancer. However, the roles of m6A and its modifiers, such as the methyltransferase METTL3, remain controversial in primary tumors. We report that METTL3 is upregulated in the highly proliferative human S2 and mouse M2 subtypes of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).

Great Leaders Know Which Emotions Their Feedback Will Trigger
SKIP TO CONTENT People don’t learn from feedback simply because they receive it—they learn when the emotions feedback triggers keep their attention focused on improving the work rather than protecting... At a weekly product review meeting, a newly promoted vice president addresses a missed deadline. Her conclusion: The analysis was rushed, key assumptions weren’t tested, and the final recommendation didn’t hold up under scrutiny.

Isomeric multi-hydrogen-bonding enables blue perovskite LEDs
Abstract Despite huge progress accomplished in perovskite light-emitting diodes (PeLEDs), the electroluminescence performance of blue PeLEDs lags far behind, constraining the widespread application of PeLED technology for vibrant full-colour displays1,2,3,4,5. The wider bandgaps of blue emitters require higher working voltages of corresponding electroluminescent devices, intensifying the octahedral instability of perovskites with ionic nature6,7.
