Process modeling and simulation of clean energy utilization
With growing global concerns over energy security, climate change and carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, the academic and industrial communities have increasingly focused their efforts on advancing clean energy utilization, including the conversion of solar energy, biomass into bioenergy, and waste-to-energy technologies, all of which contribute to reducing fossil fuel consumption.
Comparative effectiveness of exercise and self-management interventions delivered through different modes of digital support on pain and patient-reported physical function in people with knee osteoarthritis: a systematic review and network meta-analysis o
Abstract Objective: Previous reviews have commonly pooled heterogeneous digital technologies, leaving the relative effects of different delivery approaches, feedback mechanisms, and levels of professional involvement unclear. This study compared seven exercise and self-management strategies for WOMAC pain, WOMAC physical function, and retention at the end of the intervention in people with knee osteoarthritis.
The relationship between childhood trauma and complex PTSD symptoms among college students: the influence of emotional regulation strategies and gender differences
Abstract Complex post-traumatic stress disorder (CPTSD) often persists long after childhood trauma. Growing evidence suggests that early adversities disrupt foundational cognitive frameworks, making maladaptive emotional regulation a critical bridge to chronic symptoms, particularly among young adults.
Effect of water on CO 2 adsorption and diffusion in low-rank coal nanopores
Abstract In this study, the nanopore structure of low-rank lignite was obtained using scanning electron microscopy, N2 and CO2 adsorption methods. Based on these data, the nanopore models of lignite with varying moisture volume fractions were constructed. Then, CO2 adsorption and diffusion performances on lignite were researched. The findings indicate that moisture is the dominant factor limiting CO2 storage capacity.

The role of SAM-dependent internal m 7 G modification of LINC01252 in the progression of hepatocellular carcinoma
Abstract Dysregulation of long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) plays a significant role in the progression of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), yet many underlying mechanisms remain elusive. Recent studies have highlighted the critical importance of internal N7-methylguanosine (m7G) modifications in influencing RNA expression and function. In this study, we identified LINC01252, a poorly characterized lncRNA, through analyses of GEO datasets and the TCGA cohort.

Design of multi-epitope vaccine based on G2c genotype PEDV antigen and its immunogenicity and protective effect in piglets
Abstract Porcine epidemic diarrhea virus (PEDV) remains a clinically important enteric virus, causing diarrhea, vomiting, dehydration, and high mortality in piglets. As the currently available vaccines may provide inconsistent protection against genetically heterogeneous field strains, particularly G2c variants, improved immunization strategies are still needed.

Spliceosomal mutation drives melanoma tumorigenesis via lineage-specific RAS activation
|
Abstract Mutations in splicing factors are recurrent across human cancers and drive widespread RNA splicing dysregulation. Among these, SF3B1 is the most frequently mutated, yet its hotspot mutations exhibit lineage specificity, with SF3B1R625 mutations predominantly found in melanoma and SF3B1K700E in hematologic malignancies. However, the mechanistic basis for this cancer-type specificity remains unclear.

Atomic-scale quantification of individual oxygen vacancies and structural evolution in valence change memristors
Abstract Elucidating the valence change mechanism in oxides memristors remains challenging due to subtle oxygen vacancy migration. Here, we quantify individual oxygen vacancies and observe their dynamic evolution during resistive switching using in-situ transmission electron microscopy. In SrNbO3.4, when fewer than 3 oxygen vacancies per unit formula form, they distribute uniformly. This solid-solution structure ensures reversible oxygen vacancy creation and annihilation.
Rational Regulation of the Linkage Polarity in Imine-Linked Covalent Organic Frameworks for Efficient Photocatalytic Nitrogen Reduction to Ammonia Click to copy article link Article link copied!
Abstract Click to copy section linkSection link copied! Imine-linked covalent organic frameworks (COFs) have gained considerable attention for photocatalytic reduction of nitrogen (N2) to ammonia (NH3). However, the intrinsic polarization of the linking C═N bonds leads to a high energy barrier for π-electron delocalization, giving rise to high exciton binding energy and slow charge separation/transfer efficiency.
Graph attention and text semantics improve personalized recommendation
Abstract With the increasing challenge of information overload, personalized recommendation systems play an essential role in delivering relevant content to users. Traditional collaborative filtering methods often suffer from data sparsity and cold-start problems, which limit their effectiveness in real-world applications. To address these issues, this paper proposes a personalized recommendation model that integrates graph attention mechanisms with auxiliary textual information.
Cropland biophysical impacts on land surface temperature show diurnal differences across tropical Africa

Interactive control strategy of mixed traffic with connected and automated vehicles at unsignalized intersections: a double-layer framework
Abstract The absence of traffic signals at unsignalized intersections often results in operational conflicts that reduce traffic efficiency. The advent of connected and automated vehicles (CAVs) offers new opportunities for managing such intersections. However, because human-driven vehicles (HVs) still dominate traffic flow, the coexistence of CAVs and HVs poses significant challenges for mixed traffic control.

Optimalization-based depth estimation method for single-photon LiDAR
The pile-up effect inherent in the common synchronous gating mode of single-photon avalanche diodes (SPADs) limits detection accuracy under high photon flux. Traditional correction methods based on recursion insufficiently utilize full time-domain information, leading to significant errors under moderate to high noise intensity.

Polarization-independent surface nanostructuring by femtosecond laser irradiation via microsphere in far field and ambient air - Light: Science & Applications
Abstract Ultrafast lasers have garnered significant interest in the realm of surface nanofabrication. However, their dynamic electric field distribution is influenced by the polarization direction when pursuing high machining precision, which leads to high polarization dependence of laser nanostructuring. Here, polarization-independent surface nanostructuring is realized on Sb2S3 thin films by femtosecond laser irradiation via a microsphere in the far field and ambient air.
