Multiregional single cell profiling reveals LGALS9 and CD44 mediated niche remodeling crosstalk in metastatic breast cancer
Abstract The transition from intraductal to invasive Breast cancer (BC) is driven by complex interactions within the tumor microenvironment (TME). Cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs), a key stromal component, critically influence extracellular matrix remodeling, immune modulation, and metastatic dissemination. However, the spatially resolved cellular mechanisms through which malignant epithelial subpopulations reprogram fibroblasts to promote metastasis remain incompletely understood.
GlycoStamp-seq: Single-cell nascent sialoglycometabolomics captures sialylation dynamics in immune cells of an oxaliplatin-treated bladder cancer mouse model
Abstract Dynamic remodeling of immune cell-surface glycans reflects cellular state and immune activity. Despite advances in single-cell glyco-profiling, current methods primarily capture pre-existing glycan epitopes, providing limited information on dynamic sialoglycans. Here, we present GlycoStamp-seq, a method to profile nascent sialoglycan dynamics by coupling Ac₄ManNAz-based metabolic glycoengineering with single-cell RNA/TCR sequencing (scRNA/TCR-seq) and scDyna-seq.

A transcription factor TOE3 simultaneously promotes growth and antiviral immunity by disrupting ABA core module in tobacco
Abstract INTRODUCTION RESULTS DISCUSSION MATERIALS AND METHODS Acknowledgments Supplementary Materials REFERENCES Information & Authors Metrics & Citations View Options References Figures Tables Media Share Abstract Plant immune activation often reduces growth, which is defined as “growth-defense trade-off” (GDT). Uncoupling GDT is promising for breeding of elite cultivars with strong growth and immunity.
A critical role of the histone lysine demethylase JmjC1 in regulating severe malaria-associated virulence genes in Plasmodium falciparum
Abstract Cerebral malaria involves the expression of a particular var subgroup, termed upsA, in Plasmodium falciparum, which encodes a subset of PfEMP1 variants that avidly bind to human receptors on endothelial cells, resulting in obstruction of microvasculature in the brain and severe pathogenesis. Despite the clinical importance of the upsA var genes, the mechanism of their low-frequency activation in asymptomatic or uncomplicated malaria cases remains poorly understood.
A pilot single-cell RNA sequencing study of endothelial activation signatures in large benign prostatic hyperplasia
Abstract Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) is common in aging men, but the endothelial compartment in enlarged prostates remains poorly defined. In this hypothesis-generating pilot study, we generated a single-cell RNA-seq dataset from six surgically obtained BPH specimens (three Large BPH and three Small BPH) and analyzed 56,912 cells; public datasets GSE290213 and GSE242249 were used for external context.

Rapid GC content evolution in rice through GC-biased gene conversion and selection for translation efficiency
Abstract GC-biased gene conversion (gBGC), which favors GC over AT alleles during recombination, is responsible for the elevation of GC content in yeast and animals and is more effective in outcrossing species, yet its role in plants is less well understood. Here, we report empirical evidence for the presence of gBGC in rice (Oryza sativa).
Metagenomic profiling of tobacco root endophytes reveals a disease-suppressive Enterobacter strain against Fusarium solani
Abstract Background: Tobacco root rot, caused by Fusarium species, is a persistent soil-borne disease that threatens tobacco production. To identify endophytic contributors to disease suppression, this study compared the root endophytic microbiomes of healthy and diseased tobacco plants using metagenomic sequencing and isolated functional bacteria from healthy roots.
Unlocking Superior Na-Storage Kinetics and Structural Durability in Na 2 FePO 4 F via Local Coordination Engineering
1 Introduction After decades of development, lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) have been widely used in consumer electronics, new energy vehicles, and other fields. However, the ever-increasing global demand for large-scale energy storage systems has spurred intensive research into post-lithium-ion battery technologies [1, 2].
Cross-cancer homologous recombination deficiency prediction from whole slide images using transfer learning
Abstract Accurate prediction of Homologous Recombination Deficiency (HRD) is vital for personalized cancer therapy, yet genomic assays are often costly and complex. Predicting HRD from Hematoxylin and Eosin (H&E) stained whole-slide images (WSIs) via deep learning offers an alternative, but model generalization across diverse cancer types remains challenging. We developed a three-stage transfer learning framework to improve HRD prediction across cancer types.
Photoactivatable CRISPR/Cas13d via upconversion nanoparticles for deep tissue RNA engineering and orthopedic therapy
Abstract Spatiotemporal control of RNA therapeutics remains a fundamental challenge limiting clinical translation. Here, we develop a photoactivatable CRISPR/Cas13d (paCas13d) system that enables non-invasive, light-controlled RNA manipulation in deep tissues. Through structure-guided engineering, we identify optimal split sites within RfxCas13d and create light-switchable fragments using CRY2PHR/CIBN optogenetic dimerization.
A diagnostic model based on pulmonary microbiota and host gene expression to distinguish colonization from pneumonia

3M-CPSEED, An EEG-based Dataset for Chinese Pinyin Production in Overt, Mouthed, and Imagined Speech - Scientific Data
Abstract Speech brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) enable communication with the external world by decoding neural signals. However, language function as a higher-order brain function, the neural mechanisms underlying speech production remain incompletely understood. Currently most existing Chinese EEG datasets use sentences as stimuli, overlooking that Pinyin constitutes the phonetic foundation of Chinese characters, which limits research on decoding individual Chinese character components.
Improving Clinical Decisions Through Primary Trial Data Review
The findings of confirmatory clinical trials significantly influence medical practices and treatment decisions. Although peer review processes are stringent, reviewers often base their evaluations on secondary data disclosed by authors and sponsors. This method creates a vulnerability, particularly with industry-sponsored trials, in which the published narrative may not present a fully balanced account.
