BENSONHURST (WABC) -- A councilmember has been arrested after biting a police chief during a protest in Brooklyn. It happened in the Bensonhurst section during a protest against against a proposed men' shelter in the neighborhood. Councilwoman Susan Zhuang was charged with assault after biting the chief on the arm. The NYPD chief was treated for a large bite in his arm. Nine others were arrested for their roles in the protest.

NEW YORK (WABC) – A man is in critical condition after being run over by a car Saturday. The accident happened as a large group of people gathered to watch cars perform donuts in the streets of New York City. It was all caught on camera. Officers are still tracking down leads after all that was left of the incident were blood stains and skid marks. The intersection of Greenwich and Van Dam was deserted, but cell phone video shows the horrific story.
