Identification of broadly tumour-reactive γδ TCRs from multiple myeloma
Abstract γδ T cells are becoming increasingly appreciated for their antitumour capacity and role in mediating responses to immune checkpoint blockade1,2,3. Unlike classical αβ T cells, the degree to which γδ T cells rely on their T cell receptors (TCRs) to induce antitumour responses remains unclear.

Integrating transcriptome, metabolome and 16S rRNA sequencing to reveal the effect of celastrol on Alzheimer’s disease in rats
Abstract Celastrol is a promising therapeutic candidate for neurodegenerative diseases. However, the underlying mechanism of celastrol on Alzheimer’s disease (AD) remains poorly understood. This study aims to investigate the potential effect of celastrol on treating AD using multi-omics. The AD rat model was established using D-galactose combined with Aβ25-35 and subsequently treated with celastrol at doses of 0.7 mg/kg and 2.8 mg/kg respectively.
The Protein Acetylation Rheostat: Linking Autophagy and Senescence in Metabolic Disease
You are already at the latest version Metabolic diseases, such as obesity, type 2 diabetes (T2DM), and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD, formerly NAFLD), emerge from chronic nutrient overload that progressively disrupts cellular homeostasis and precipitates persistent inflammatory remodeling.
Quasi-epitaxial heterojunction interface reconstruction enables 11.96% certified efficiency in Cd-free Cu 2 ZnSnS 4 solar cells
Abstract Sulfide kesterite Cu2ZnSnS4 (CZTS) is a promising photovoltaic material with considerable potential for application in single-junction, multi-junction, and tandem solar cells. However, advancements in its certified power conversion efficiency (PCE) have remained slow, primarily due to severe interface recombination, which is a major limitation constraining the overall performance of CZTS solar cells.
A pan-cancer compendium of 1,294 plasma cell-free DNA methylomes and fragmentomes enabling multicancer detection - Nature Cancer
|
Abstract Cell-free DNA analysis via methylation and fragmentation profiling has advanced minimally invasive cancer detection; however, broader application has been limited by small cohorts and inconsistent data processing. Here we collated 1,074 cfMeDIP-seq profiles across 9 studies, comprising cancer samples from 11 cancer types, carriers of Li-Fraumeni syndrome and healthy controls. We developed a uniform computational workflow to mitigate technical and biological confounders across cohorts.

Structure-based design of an opioid receptor modulator for enhanced morphine analgesia
|
Abstract The alarming rates of deaths due to opioid overdose present an urgent need for safer opioid analgesics. Positive allosteric modulators (PAMs) of opioid receptors (ORs) offer a promising approach to enhance opioid efficacy while reducing risks of overdose.

Evaluation of the impact of climate change on the ecological network of the Yangtze River Economic Belt
Abstract The Yangtze River Economic Belt (YREB) not only plays a crucial role in promoting economic globalization, but also holds an irreplaceable position in global ecological protection. Ecological issues caused by climate change have become a bottleneck that hinders YREB’s sustainable development. However, the impact of climate change on YREB’s ecological network is not yet clear.
Frontiers | Socioeconomic and health system determinants of maternal health inequities across Chinese provinces (2009-2021): a multivariate meta-regression analysis of regional heterogeneity in underlying mechanisms
1 Introduction Maternal health is a cornerstone of women’s and children’s health and a critical indicator of social development and the performance of health systems. Since the launch of the Healthy China 2030 strategy, China has made remarkable progress in reducing maternal mortality, with maternal mortality ratios (MMR) in some regions approaching the levels of upper middle–income countries. However, substantial inequities remain.
Dental Caries as a Potential Risk Factor for Asthma: Evidence From Mendelian Randomization Analysis
Background Dental caries is a widespread oral disease linked to systemic health. Asthma, a chronic airway condition, impacts quality of life and may influence oral health. While evidence on the association between asthma and caries is inconclusive, some studies suggest asthma increases caries risk. This study applies Mendelian randomization (MR) to investigate their potential causal relationship.
The impact of Internet use on older adults’ attitudes toward positive aging: evidence from China
School of Humanities and Management, Kunming Medical University, Kunming, Yunnan, China Objective: The concurrent trends of population aging and digitalization underscore the growing relevance of the Internet to older adults’ lifestyles and health. This paper explores the influence of Internet use on positive aging attitudes and its underlying mechanisms, with a specific analysis of the effects of different online functions.

Genetic variability and phylogenetic analysis of the long control region in human papillomavirus types 18 and 51 from central China - Virology Journal
In this study, PCR amplification and sequencing were performed on 55 HPV-18 single-positive samples, yielding 43 complete LCR sequences. The remaining 12 samples were excluded due to PCR amplification failure or suboptimal sequencing quality. Genetic variation analysis of HPV-18 LCR sequences identified 17 SNP sites. The results were shown in Table 3. Compared with the HPV-18 reference sequence, the LCR exhibited a nucleotide variation rate of 100%.

Cell-free DNA from germline TP53 mutation carriers reflect cancer-like fragmentation patterns - Nature Communications
Abstract Germline pathogenic TP53 variants predispose individuals to a high lifetime risk of developing multiple cancers and are the hallmark feature of Li-Fraumeni syndrome (LFS). Our group has previously shown that LFS patients harbor shorter plasma cell-free DNA fragmentation; independent of cancer status.

Effect of Motor Installation Heights on the Performance of an Isolated Centrifugal Fan
3.3. Analysis of Calculation Results for Large Flow Conditions The flow coefficient was set to 0.145, a higher flow rate. As shown in Figure 8a, the upper surface of the motor is oriented perpendicular to the direction of flow. Both sides of the higher motor are simplified into a stepped structure, which is favorable for the formation of vortexes on the motor sides. The axial height of these vortices is approximately equal to that of the motor.
