High Energy Physics - Phenomenology
We study $B_c^{(*)}$ production in $Z$-boson decays at next-to-leading order (NLO) in QCD within the color-singlet nonrelativistic QCD framework. The analysis covers both the $1S$ and $2S$ pseudoscalar and vector states, extending the phenomenological study to radially excited $B_c$ mesons. We calculate direct production widths and energy-fraction and invariant-mass distributions, including both charm- and bottom-quark production topologies.
Functional prediction of immune checkpoint inhibitor response in renal cell carcinoma using a zebrafish patient-derived xenograft platform
Abstract To predict individual patient responses to immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs), we developed a biologic assay for renal cell carcinoma (RCC) in which whole tumor cells (WTCs) isolated from patients are mixed ex vivo with nivolumab or control IgG and injected into zebrafish larvae (zPDX). ICI response is quantified as the percentage reduction in tumor size relative to control treatment.

Extended PID control design for MIMO nonlinear systems with channel-dependent relative degrees
Abstract This paper studies a class of uncertain multi-input multi-output (MIMO) nonlinear systems using extended PID (EPID) control. We focus on systems possessing a well-defined vector relative degree whose components may vary across channels, a setting that received limited attention in the existing literature on PID-type control.
ARHGEF2 isoform switching couples intestinal epithelial barrier function with autophagic host defense response to pathogens
Abstract Intestinal epithelial integrity is essential for host defense, yet how epithelial junctional scaffolds coordinate antimicrobial immunity remains unclear. We show that the long GEF-H1 isoforms (mouse Arhgef2-207; human ARHGEF2-219) localize to adherens junctions in polarized epithelial cells through interactions with actin and Nectin-3, whereas the shorter Arhgef2-201 isoform localizes to tight junctions.

Damage Characteristics and Stress Distribution Law of Overburden Rock in Multiple Mining of Close Coal Seams
1 Introduction After mining, failure patterns characterized by the caved zone, fractured zone, and continuously deformed zone are formed in the overburden. Among these, the development heights of the caved zone and fractured zone are critical for the prevention and control of water inrush and gas leakage in mines [1], as they serve as water-conducting channels connecting the goaf with overlying aquifers [2, 3].
Tenfold Expansion Submicrometer MALDI Mass Spectrometry Imaging of Tissues and Cultured Cells
1 Introduction Understanding the spatial organization of biomolecules at the cellular and subcellular levels is essential for elucidating cellular heterogeneity and local biochemical processes. High-resolution optical microscopy can reach the nanoscale but relies on molecular labels [1, 2], which limits its applicability to lipids and metabolites and restricts multiplexing due to spectral overlap [3].
Boosting genome editing in perennial plants by CRISPR-Combo mediated morphogenic gene activation
Abstract A major bottleneck in genome editing of many perennial plants is their recalcitrance to transformation and regeneration. To boost genome editing in such perennial crops, transcriptional reprogramming of morphogenic genes is introduced by CRISPR-Combo, a versatile system for simultaneous genome editing and transcriptional activation in plant cells.

CircBRWD3 promotes non-small cell lung cancer progression through enhancing the stability of TRIM25 to increase p53 ubiquitin degradation and upregulating SPTBN2
Abstract Circular RNAs (circRNAs) play crucial roles in cancer progression and metastasis. However, the expression profiles and biological roles of circRNAs in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) remain unclear. In this study, we found a novel circRNA, hsa_circ_0001936(circBRWD3), in NSCLC and investigated the biological role of circBRWD3 in NSCLC progression in vitro and in vivo. qRT-PCR was used to quantify the expression of circBRWD3 in NSCLC tissues, serum and cells.
The role of MAPK/mTOR pathway in regulating ULK1 mediated autophagy in hyperammonemia induced liver injury
Abstract Hyperammonemia is frequently encountered in cirrhosis; nevertheless, its direct hepatotoxic effects remain poorly characterized. In this study, we aimed to delineate the hepatotoxic effects of chronic hyperammonemia and and explore the related mechanisms of liver injury. Thirty male C57BL/6 mice were randomly divided into three groups (n = 10 per group): a control group, a hyperammonemia group, and a rifaximin-treated group.
A molten salt metal-air electrolyzer for recycling superalloy
Abstract Recovering critical strategic metals from superalloy scraps is indispensable to sustaining the materials supply chain. However, the excellent physicochemical properties of superalloy make them difficult to dissolve and separate, thereby hindering their recycling and reutilization. Here, we design a molten salt metal–air electrolyzer (MMAE) that synergistically oxidizes and pulverizes scraps, which generates oxide powders that can be easily dissolved and separated for all element recovery.
Targeting mitochondrial α-ketoglutarate sequestration disables dual oncogenic drivers and metabolic adaptability in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma
Abstract Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) exhibits hyperactive mitochondrial metabolism, yet how this rewiring spatially restricts the availability of metabolites for oncogenic signaling and drives systemic metabolic dysregulation in PDAC remains unknown. Here, we identify enhanced mitochondrial α-ketoglutarate (α-KG) sequestration as a key metabolic vulnerability in PDAC.

Resource management for blockchain enhanced federated learning in wireless edge networks
Abstract Though machine learning is widely used in wireless edge networks, the transmission of raw data still suffers from security and privacy leakage. Federated learning (FL) addresses these privacy concerns by enabling model training without sharing raw data. However, traditional centralized FL is vulnerable to a single point of failure. Blockchain-based federated learning (BFL) technology can provide FL with a more reliable and secure environment.

Assessment criteria for the corrosion resistance of Gd 2 Zr 2 O 7 -based thermal barrier coatings exposed to CMAS and CMAS + sea salt
Abstract Gd2Zr2O7 (GZO) thermal barrier coating is famous for its excellent resistance to CaO-MgO-Al2O3-SiO2 (CMAS) corrosion, and the judgment is that molten CMAS infiltration can be suppressed by its rapid reaction with GZO, but the judgment criteria are lack.
Research on the support of roadways with different roof cutting angles in gob-side entry retaining
Abstract Gob-side entry retaining is a coal no-pillar mining technology, which can recover coal pillar resources and reduce the quantity, and cost of roadway excavation. However, due to the breaking slewing and sinking movement of the roof of the overlying rock layer, the surrounding rock of the retained roadway will produce large deformation. In order to effectively reduce the stress transfer from the overlying rock layer, the method of cutting off the immediate roof and main roof can be used.
