Recent Progress of Single-Crystals Perovskite X-ray Detection and Imaging
1 Introduction X-ray was first discovered by Röntgen in 1895. X-ray tends to carry information about the subject with its different directions and phases because it can interact with electrons in the atoms to ionize the target materials. Nowadays, X-ray detectors are used in many fields, such as medical diagnostics, industrial non-destructive inspection, and quality inspection in the food industry [1].

Adaptive deep reinforcement learning–based regenerative braking control for coordinated energy recovery and safety in electric vehicles
Abstract Regenerative braking control in electric vehicles is challenging due to the coupled influence of driver intent, following safety, and battery charge acceptance, making it difficult for conventional rule-based or static strategies to ensure both safety and energy recovery performance simultaneously. This paper proposes an adaptive constraint-aware deep reinforcement learning (ADRL) strategy for longitudinal motion control.

BCL9 inhibition promotes fibroblast lipogenesis by regulating macrophage–fibroblast interactions to attenuate pulmonary fibrosis
Abstract Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) is a progressive and fatal interstitial lung disease with an urgent need for novel therapeutic strategies. M2 macrophage-derived TGF-β1 promotes fibroblast myogenesis, contributing to IPF pathogenesis. Targeting macrophage polarization and fibroblast function thus represents an effective therapeutic approach for treating IPF. Here, we identify B-cell lymphoma 9 (BCL9) as a key upstream regulator implicated in IPF pathogenesis.

Developing Preservice Teachers’ AI Literacy for Creative, Critical, and Agentic Classrooms
1 Introduction AI can be used to do or cheat on assignments. It can also remove the need for students to use creativity, critical thinking, and problem solving. I'm worried that AI will become a crutch and students will defer to it rather than use their own brains and problem-solving skills. These comments are more than expressions of anxiety about an emerging technology. They identify pedagogical concerns about the conditions under which learning occurs.
Bridging the medical cliff: a paediatric–adult continuity of care model for 2,341 young adults with rare diseases in China
Abstract Introduction: Adolescents and young adults with rare diseases face a “medical cliff” when they age out of paediatric services, losing established care relationships and disease-specific expertise. Most rare diseases begin in childhood, since 69.9% of catalogued rare diseases are of exclusively paediatric onset. The problem is acute in China, where an estimated 20 million people live with a rare disease and systematic transitional care pathways remain largely absent.

Protection and deprotection of the Rec8 cohesin complex during meiosis
Our previous study indicated that Plo1 bound to Moa1 phosphorylates Rec8 at S450 and thereby contributes to Rec8 protection during meiosis I.20 Therefore, we investigated whether Moa1 also contributes to the protection of Rec8 during meiosis II. Notably, like Sgo1, Moa1 also carries a D-box sequence RPALQDKTN (residues 32–40)31 (Figure 4A). We introduced the D-box mutation L35A into endogenous Moa1 (Moa1-DB) and examined its protein expression and localization during meiosis.

Early sensory abnormalities in AD likely arise from converging pathological processes.
BMSC-derived extracellular vesicles enhance osteosarcoma proliferation and metastasis via the circRNA-0010220/β-catenin pathway
Abstract Osteosarcoma (OS) remains a challenging malignancy with a high propensity for metastasis and poor survival outcomes. Bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell-derived extracellular vesicles (BMSC-EVs) have emerged as key mediators in the tumor microenvironment, promoting OS progression. This study identifies a novel molecular axis centered on circRNA-0010220 within BMSC-EVs that drives OS aggressiveness.
High-κ KBe 2 BO 3 F 2 dielectric material with wide bandgap for two-dimensional electronics
Abstract Further transistor scaling requires gate dielectric materials with both high dielectric constant and wide bandgap to improve gate control and suppress leakage current. However, these two properties typically exhibit an inverse relationship, making it challenging to simultaneously optimize both. Here, we report the exfoliation of KBe2BO3F2 (KBBF) dielectric nanosheets that overcome this trade-off. The material possesses a wide band gap exceeding 8 eV and a bulk dielectric constant of 63.

MRI-based radiomic clustering identifies a glioblastoma subtype enriched for neural stemness and proliferative programs
1 Introduction Glioblastoma (GBM) is the most lethal primary brain tumor, with a median survival of 12–15 months despite standard therapy (1). One major factor underlying this poor prognosis is the extreme inter- and intra-tumor molecular heterogeneity of GBM (2). GBM tumors contain diverse cellular subpopulations; for example, a small fraction of glioma stem-like cells is thought to drive therapy resistance and recurrence (3).
