Observation of polaritonic flat-band bound states in the continuum in a 2D magnet
Abstract Flat-band bound states in the continuum (BICs) are topological states with suppressed group velocity and robustness against radiation loss, offering a powerful platform for the exploration of non-Hermitian, nonlinear, topological phenomena and device applications. Van der Waals (vdW) metasurfaces have recently emerged as promising candidates for sustaining BICs and hybridizing with material transitions. However, the realization of flat-band BICs remains elusive.
SERCA2 gatekeeper role in aortic autophagy: targeting the Ca 2+ -mTOR axis to prevent aortic dissection
Abstract Aortic dissection (AD) is a catastrophic cardiovascular syndrome with an in-hospital mortality of more than 90%. We previously identified oxidative inactivation of sarcoplasmic/endoplasmic reticulum Ca2+-ATPase 2 (SERCA2) at cysteine 674 (C674) as a driver of aortic smooth muscle cell (ASMC) phenotypic switching. However, its causal impact on autophagic flux and AD remains unresolved.
Hepatitis B Immunoprophylaxis rarely prevents molecularly evident subclinical HBV infection in children born to HBsAg-positive mothers
Abstract Hepatitis B virus (HBV) remains one of the most life-threatening human pathogens causing chronic hepatitis B and hepatocellular carcinoma in millions of people globally. Protective vaccines are available for decades, but their implementation is not yet universal. Mother-to-child transmission remains the prevailing route of HBV spread.

NAT10 maintains stem cell homeostasis by mitigating mRNA decay through an ac 4 C-independent mechanism
Abstract Haematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) represent a well-established system for studying stem cell maintenance. While RNA regulators have been reported in HSCs, a systematic characterization and how they define transcript fate remains outstanding. Here we profile RNA characteristics of HSC-essential genes and uncover a notable feature in both human and mouse: they have extended 3′ untranslated regions specifically enriched with AU-rich elements (AREs).
FOLR3+neutrophils contribute to sepsis by exacerbating hyper-inflammation
Abstract Sepsis severity is associated with sustained neutrophilia, yet the underlying heterogeneity remains unclear. By integrating single-cell and bulk RNA-seq of septic peripheral blood, we uncovered five neutrophils clusters. FOLR3+neutrophils were the predominant and terminally differentiated subgroup, which displayed hyper-inflammatory signatures and low HLA expression, especially in non-survivors of sepsis.
Large exciton longitudinal–transverse splitting enables room-temperature ultrafast coherent polaritonics in layered perovskite crystals
Abstract Exciton–polaritons (EPs) are hybrid light–matter quasi-particles that hold great potential for quantum optics and optoelectronics. Bulk EPs, or elementary dressed states, are limited by the small exciton binding energies and oscillator strengths of existing semiconductors, thus restricting their formation to cryogenic temperatures and hindering practical applications.

The PTPN1 and PTPN2 phosphatases are Cooperative Regulators of Cancer Cell Immune Evasion
Abstract Immune evasion by cancer cells remains a major barrier to the success of immune checkpoint blockade (ICB). Here, we identify the phosphatases PTPN1 and PTPN2 as cooperative regulators of tumor immune resistance. Dual genetic ablation of PTPN1/2 in cancer cells enhances Type I and II interferon signaling, MHCI and CXCL9 expression, and sensitizes tumor cells to cytotoxic T lymphocyte mediated killing.
Genome-wide association study of copy number variation and early growth traits in inner Mongolian cashmere goats
1 Introduction Body weight, as a fundamental growth trait, represents one of the most crucial economic indicators in animal husbandry, with its measurement spanning the entire lifecycle of livestock rearing (1). In goat breeding practices, early growth traits, including birth weight, weaning weight, average daily weight and yearling weight, serve as essential metrics for evaluating caprine growth and development. All of these may directly or indirectly affect other production of goats (2, 3).
