Androgen receptor condensates drive gastric cancer through SWI/SNF-mediated chromatin remodeling and create a therapeutic vulnerability
Abstract Gastric cancer (GC) remains a leading cause of cancer mortality, with epidemiological patterns indicative of androgen signaling involvement. We establish androgen receptor (AR) as a pivotal oncogenic factor in GC and provide preclinical validation for its therapeutic targeting. AR expression was significantly elevated in GC tissues and correlated with adverse prognosis across ten independent cohorts (n = 1740).
β3GnT2-mediated N-glycosylation of EGFR and LDLR drives glioblastoma progression and can be targeted by AST-1306
Abstract Glioblastoma (GBM) is the most aggressive primary brain tumor, characterized by a poor prognosis and limited therapeutic options. In this study, we identify β3GnT2 (β-1,3-N-acetylglucosaminyltransferase 2) as a critical driver of GBM progression and a potential therapeutic target. β3GnT2 is significantly upregulated in GBM tissues, and its high expression correlates with unfavorable patient survival.
MetaCAT enables reconstruction of high-quality microbial genomes and their association with host traits from metagenomic data
Abstract Recovering high-quality microbial genomes from metagenomic sequencing data is essential for accurate profiling and understanding microbial variation. However, existing clustering methods often suffer from limited accuracy and scalability. Here we present MetaCAT (Metagenome Clustering and Association Tool), a framework that combines recovery of microbial genomes from metagenomic data and analysis of their associations with host traits.

Biosynthesis of a nanoscale Vibrio cholerae conjugate vaccine elicits potent immunity through size and receptor effects
Abstract Cholera, caused by Vibrio cholerae, remains a significant global health threat, with the O1 serotype being the predominant cause of recent global outbreaks. Although conjugate vaccines against V. cholerae have been developed via chemical methods, the feasibility of applying novel biosynthetic approaches remains uncertain due to the special structure of its O-polysaccharide, which should be recognized by oligosaccharyltransferases.
Direct RNA sequencing-based multi-omics profiling reveals transcriptional and post-transcriptional remodeling in mice with diet-induced atherosclerosis
Abstract Introduction: Atherosclerosis is a vascular disease whose pathogenesis involves complex transcriptional and post-transcriptional regulation. Conventional bulk RNA-seq captures gene-level expression but does not fully resolve isoform diversity and RNA regulatory features. Methods: Male apolipoprotein E-deficient mice were fed normal chow (NC) or a Western diet (AS) for 16 weeks to establish diet-induced atherosclerosis.
Fixed-dose inotuzumab ozogamicin (INO) combined with Vincristine and Prednisone (VP) regimen as induction therapy for newly diagnosed B-cell acute lymphocytic leukemia (B-ALL): a multi-center, open-label, single-arm, prospective clinical study
|
Dear editors: Adult B-ALL exhibits significant heterogeneity and poor prognosis compared with the pediatric population. While the complete remission (CR) rate of traditional induction chemotherapy is 70%–90% for newly diagnosed patients [1], only 30–50% of patients attain long-term disease-free survival (DFS) exceeding 5-years [2]. For the Philadelphia chromosome-positive (ph+) patients, the addition of tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) significantly improved the CR rates [3].

This study aimed to examine the relationship between DOS and GDM risk.
Cationic carbon nanotube modulates surface fields for general acidic CO 2 reduction with aqueous organic cations
Abstract The (bi)carbonate formation in neutral or alkaline media severely limits the carbon and energy efficiency of electrochemical CO2 reduction reaction (CO2RR). Alkali metal cations and polymer coatings employed to inhibit hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) during acidic CO2RR often exacerbate salt precipitation or increase cell resistivity. Here we report cationic carbon nanotubes (CCNTs) as universal additives enabling efficient CO2RR in strong acids.

Association of the hsCRP- triglyceride-glucose index (CTI) with early infarct growth rate in acute ischemic stroke due to large artery occlusion
Abstract Background: Rapid infarct growth in acute ischemic stroke (AIS) due to large artery occlusion (LAO) is associated with poor clinical outcomes despite successful recanalization. The hypersensitive C-reactive protein (hsCRP)-triglyceride-glucose (TyG) index (CTI), a novel biomarker integrating insulin resistance and systemic inflammation, may reflect a meta-inflammatory state that exacerbates ischemic injury. However, its relationship with early infarct growth rate (IGR) remains unexplored.

Parametric Study on the Hysteretic Behavior of High-Strength Steel Frame-Tube Structures With Splice-Plate Bolted Shear Links
1 Introduction Seismically resilient structures reduce personal injury and property loss during earthquakes, enabling buildings to quickly restore functionality afterward. Structures with replaceable shear-link components represent a type of resilient system [1]. Among various energy-dissipation components, shear links dissipate seismic energy through shear deformation. First proposed in eccentrically braced structures, shear links are high-performance energy-dissipation components [2].

Solar-driven peroxyacid group activation enables> 500 h stable hydroxyl-radical defluorination of industrial perfluorophenol wastewater
Abstract Fluoroarenes persist in aquatic environments because aromatic delocalization and aqueous speciation suppress selective C-F bond cleavage, limiting both reductive activation and direct hole oxidation. Hydroxyl radicals (·OH) can mineralize these contaminants, yet near-neutral·OH generation typically relies on added oxidants or Fenton chemistry, creating chemical demand and secondary residues.
QUBO-enhanced SARIMA scenario generation for day-ahead market bidding of hybrid energy storage aggregators
Abstract Day-ahead joint bidding exposes a hybrid energy storage aggregator (HESA) to uncertainty in the locational marginal price, regulation market clearing capacity price, and regulation market performance clearing price. Conventional seasonal autoregressive integrated moving average (SARIMA) modeling calibrates forecast residuals separately for each price and hour, without using their co-movement within complete historical days.

Atroposelective organocatalytic nucleophilic aromatic substitution for C–O bond construction
Abstract The development of catalytic asymmetric strategies for directly constructing axially chiral diaryl ethers presents a substantial challenge owing to the inherent flexibility of the C–O bond and sterically congested substitution patterns that typically suppress both reactivity and enantioselectivity. Here we report an organocatalytic C–O bond-forming reaction that enables the facile synthesis of these chiral scaffolds.
