ITLN1 suppresses colorectal cancer progression by orchestrating neutrophil maturation and spatial organization
Abstract Epithelial-derived intelectin-1 (ITLN1) is frequently downregulated in colorectal cancer, but whether it actively shapes anti-tumor immunity remains unclear. We integrate multiplex immunohistochemistry, spatial analysis, single-cell transcriptomics, chromatin-accessibility profiling, and perturbation models to define how ITLN1 regulates neutrophil maturation and spatial anti-tumor immunity.
Characteristics of permeability variation in water well fracturing-flooding reconstruction and its numerical simulation representation
Abstract Hydraulic fracturing flooding technology can effectively increase reservoir pressure and improve water injection capacity by injecting a large amount of fluid into the formation in a short time, which is especially suitable for low permeability, ultra-low permeability and tight sandstone reservoirs. In this paper, the study of water well fracturing flooding is carried out in the low permeability block of Jiangsu Oilfield.
Low-frequency passive mechanical stimulation produces antidepressant-like effects in rats involving gut–brain axis modulation
Abstract Introduction: Depression is associated with dysregulation of neuroendocrine, immune, and gut -brain axis pathways. Exercise is an effective non-pharmacological intervention; however, poor motivation and fatigue limit adherence in patients with depression. Methods: We investigated a novel passive exercise modality, low-frequency passive vertical oscillation assisted by elastic ropes (LF-PVO-ER), in a chronic unpredictable mild stress (CUMS) rat model.
A robust adversarial learning framework for EEG emotion recognition
Abstract Introduction: Electroencephalography (EEG) provides an objective means of capturing neural patterns associated with emotion, but substantial inter-subject variability limits the ability of existing models to generalize to unseen subjects. Methods: We propose a robust adversarial domain generalization framework for cross-subject EEG emotion recognition.
The relationship between disability and intrinsic capacity among older adults with disabilities in nursing institutions: a cross-sectional study
Abstract Introduction: Intrinsic capacity was an important indicator of physical and mental function within the WHO healthy aging framework. Previous studies mainly examined IC decline and its relationship with disability and adverse health outcomes. However, whether IC could reflect functional differences among older adults with disabilities in nursing institutions remained unclear, particularly under the GB/T 42195-2022 Chinese National Disability Classification Standard.
GPR-based leakage detection and range assessment in urban non-metallic drainage pipelines
Abstract Leakage in urban shallow-buried non-metallic drainage pipelines changes the moisture distribution and dielectric properties of surrounding soil, producing diffuse and overlapping anomalies in GPR B-scan images that are difficult to quantify. This study proposes a GPR-based framework for leakage detection and extent estimation to support pipeline localization and excavation-oriented decision-making.

Mapping genetic regulation of gene expression to cellular contexts identifies long non-coding RNAs associated with brain disorders
Abstract How genetic variation regulates long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) expression across brain cell types remains poorly understood. A major barrier is the resolution–power trade-off between bulk and single-nucleus expression quantitative trait locus (eQTL) studies. Here, we quantify gene expression from cortical RNA-seq of 2443 individuals using an expanded transcriptome annotation and perform transcriptome-wide interaction eQTL mapping with deconvolution-derived cell-type proportions.
