Housing risk and the cross section of returns across many asset classes
The modern asset pricing literature has endeavored to search for a stochastic discount factor (SDF) that explains aggregate risk premium variations as well as the cross section of average returns and closely connects to economic fundamentals. This article proposes that the housing cycle meets all three criteria. Housing is not only an important part of the economy but also a leading indicator of the business cycle (Leamer, 2007).
BACH2 regulates diversification of regulatory and proinflammatory chromatin states in TH17 cells - Nature Immunology
Abstract Interleukin-17 (IL-17)-producing helper T (TH17) cells are heterogenous and consist of nonpathogenic TH17 (npTH17) cells that contribute to tissue homeostasis and pathogenic TH17 (pTH17) cells that mediate tissue inflammation. Here, we characterize regulatory pathways underlying TH17 heterogeneity and discover substantial differences in the chromatin landscape of npTH17 and pTH17 cells both in vitro and in vivo.

The effect of in vitro digestion on the interaction between polysaccharides derived from Pleurotus eryngii and intestinal mucus
1 INTRODUCTION The gastrointestinal tract is often considered an essential organ involved in the digestion of food and providing nutrients to the body. This environment of the gastrointestinal tract is composed of contents extremely complex. However, intestinal mucus (MUC) in the intestinal tract could effectively prevent pathogenic bacteria, endotoxins, and other harmful substances from crossing the intestinal mucus to the blood and the abdominal cavity (Jia & Han, 2023; Lai et al., 2022).

Droplet-based bisulfite sequencing for high-throughput profiling of single-cell DNA methylomes - Nature Communications
Abstract The genome-wide DNA methylation profile, or DNA methylome, is a critical component of the overall epigenomic landscape that modulates gene activities and cell fate. Single-cell DNA methylomic studies offer unprecedented resolution for detecting and profiling cell subsets based on methylomic features. However, existing single-cell methylomic technologies are based on use of tubes or well plates and these platforms are not easily scalable for handling a large number of single cells.
